does this set have the holes at the back for the petrol hose like the London set?

Hi,Yes, the cars have holes for the petrol station, too.Best wishes,Spotty Giraffe

How big are they exactly, across the axels in particular? I've got a different roadway I want them to fit on but it only tells me the package box size

They fit the wooden train tracks if that helps, I don't have anything to hand to measure them but my son uses them with his Thomas train sets wich is also the same size as breo and the cheeper sets from tesco'sHope this helps ya

Hi, are these vehicles a comparable size to Bigjigs and Brio rail way sets? Thanks

Hi Gemma, the toys are compatible with Brio but I don't know the other toy you mentioned. I would say that the toys didn't last very long before they started to fall apart. I wouldn't recommend them, in future I would buy the Brio ones. I hope this helps kind regards Jackie

Do these fit Brio tracks?

Yes these fit all the types of wooden train/car tracks
