Why not add vinyl or faux leather to the outside? Or lines/ridges to simulate pages? Crazy right?Yeah if you got a lot of books it *might* blend in…But if you have only a couple it’s like, “ooh, they have a big metal dictionary, hmm, I wonder what that could be?” Anyone could steal it and break it open later.

If you planned to put, say, a jewelry box in here: don't. Considering it costs *less* money to buy the larger one, I don't really see why not.

i love this secret book so so much , It really does look like a book on the shelf. I would like to tell people and recommend putting it in a bookshelf or having it stacked with other things. i hidden some money there for over 2 weeks, no one has find out that wasnt a book yet ,Is very strong and compact steel safe box , In order to open the book safe,you will need to enter a three digit code . Safe default password is 000.and very easy to change to any number you wanted it to be ,just turn the switch from b to a ,super easy ,great value great thing for a man like me,.

The quality was good, but I expected it to be larger. I may be mistaken, but I don't believe the dimensions were in the description. I hate to give it a 3 star rating, but I I guess I expected a little larger lock box. Other than that, my son loves it, and it is a pretty good quality item for the money.
