I swear by my tail light. I got a new bike with a custom painted seatpost. So wrapping a clamp or anything around it is no longer an option for me. This rail mount is PERFECT. Your light snaps into place at a nice highly visible place.It may be a problem if you have a saddle bag, but I can't use one of those around my seatpost anymore either. The things we do to keep a custom paintjob.I for one am glad Cyclolite had this option. A solid purchase.

Not very compatible with comfort seats
It DID not fit my TERRY comfortable saddle. Thankfully it was compatible with my other bike with ERGON seat.
