Used this on a touring holiday around the Scottish Highland's. Very effective. Even though I had a wind proof burner, this heat shield help to focus the flame up onto the kettle and got the heat into it much more efficiently. It's solid and well made and most importantly it's dead simple to fold up and put away when you've finished. It even comes with a little sleeve to keep it in. I would say it is just about right weight wise, not too heavy, but not so light that it's going to blow away (kind of defeating it's purpose if it did). Have to say I didn't think I would need this, but in blustery windy conditions I could tell a lot of the heat from my burner was going straight up into the sky so in the end I was very glad I had this in my kit!

Didn’t need to use it on a recent camping trip but seems sturdy. Will cover one side of a double hob camp stove.

Very handy, essential for wider weather. Be aware that the wires holding sections togwther can and will fall out, but that cab be easily fixed. Otherwise, it's very light, does the job and doesn't stay hot for ling either. Perfect

Simple but brilliant. Was quite sturdy, even with a wind. Also enable the heat to be more intense to boil up more quickly. It comes in its own bag and folds up light and small. Yes I would recommend.

Nothing worse than trying to cook outdoors on a windy day. This little fold down windbreak solves the problem. Th concertina style allows a range of configurations and there are two end pins to allow firm fixing to the ground, although I haven't yet needed to do this. There is good height to this wind break as well. They are meant to be light, so the panels are thin and will bend if abused. Edges are a little sharp. The bag is adequate. As a light windbreak which takes up little room, its a must have. It can make the difference between a thoroughly miserable long wait for a brew or a meal on a windy day or a quick, sheltered cuppa when you are frozen to the bone. All brands of this wind screen design are of similar quality, so go for a reasonable price point rather than pay for a name. This is good value for money.

Looks great not had chance to use it

It is light weight compact and will be great at reflecting the heat or stopping the wind. I would have given the product 5 stars but unfortunately it arrived full of scratches and grease from the manufacturing process which was unpleasant to touch I had to use some alcohol to try and clean it which got rid of the grease and oily residue but onviously not the scratches. Since it is only a wind gaurd I'm not too bothered about the scratches as it will more then likely get scratched while using. But it certainly should not arrive in that condition. It should have been cleaned and protected with that sticky plastic that protects metal when new. Im disapointed with the condition which it arrived in but should do the job its intended for.

Works well. Can clip parts to make a complete surround. Yet can still supervise cooking. Makes a huge difference. Can keep you warm too. Bonus. Lightweight and portable.

Useless! Too Small! Only about 10 inches high - not much good outdoors..

Great height even for my larger coleman. Allowed me to use a propane grill in a lot of different weather conditions. I have a canopy then this and I'm able to get something warm in me despite the weather.

Erstaunlich wirksam für das kleine Teil. Klein zusammenzulegen, leicht im Gewicht, schnell aufgebaut und hält wirksam den Wind von der Flamme fern. Für den Preis lohnt sich das selberbasteln nicht.
