"Mini cassettes" and "micro cassettes" are a different product designed for dictation machines. These are indeed OK for full sized hi-fi and car players. We used them in the car until 2014 when we got a new model, these are very reliable. **Q: can you record on both sides of this tape?** A: Yes, no problem, record 45 minutes per side, total recording time 90 minutes. **Q: When recording on both sides, does it do it automatically or do you have to take the cassette out and then turn it over?** A: It depends what type of Recorder you are using.
