Review: Perfect for severe allergies to insect bites - bought this for a hot weekend in center parcs as I have a serious allergy to mosquito bites, only ever needed to apply it once on a morning and on a night before bed (after shower) they landed on me but didnt bite which is extremely rare for me im usually covered and they get infected instantly because of the severe allergy, will be using this again when I go on holiday and will recommend it to anyone. Does leave the skin quite dry so helps if you apply spf first and leave that to soak in first then add deet on top after about 20 mins

**Q: I have tattoos, i know deet is a strong chemical. Will it mess up my tattoos?**
A: I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't have thought so.  It wouldn't penetrate deep enough.  I would recommend spraying it on your hands first so that you can put it exactly where you want it to go. It took the top layer of my nail polish off when I sprayed my feet!

A: Long sleeves trousers . I’m sure there’s any deterrent by using a spray

**Q: Will this work for horse flys ?**
A: I have been bitten by horse fly but not since Iv started using this , hope that helps

I had mixed results It was effective for some parts of the day, but during early mornings and early evenings, it didn’t seem to stop the mosquitoes getting at me. But it does have some effect, so I’ll not totally dismiss it. It’s better than nothing.
