The Rolling Stones: From The Vault - Sticky Fingers Live At The Fonda Theatre [DVD+CD]

Recorded at the Fonda Theatre Hollywood in 2015 at the start of their North American tour. The quality of the recording and filming is first rate. This is a completely unique and different Stones live album. It's the only time they've ever played the entire Sticky Fingers album also included are some bonus tracks. Arguably one of the Stones finest studio albums with a lot of very dark songs on it playing the whole thing in it's entirety although not in the order on the studio album works very well. If you are a fan of the Stones classic era and this album is still at the bargain price it was when I picked it up do not hesitate you will not regret it.

Brilliant gig, containing probably the best (and certainly most extended) version of Brown Sugar I've ever seen them perform. When Mick Jagger is in the mood, he goads his band to 'rock it out' to the limit, and here he does it, where I think they are all fired up and happy having, for the first time, performed every track off Sticky Fingers, leaving Brown Sugar as the last track. It also contains an amazing tribute to BB King, who'd died the week before, and I Can't Turn You Loose, which is the first time I ever heard them doing Otis. The whole band are on brilliant form, and obviously enjoying every moment of this comparitively intimate gig.Incidentally, if you like their extended rock outs, check out Street Fighting Man from the Twickenham Concert contained on their 40 Licks DVD set.

Continuing their From The Vaults series we finally get Sticky Fingers live. Originally on iTunes download we get the hard copy on CD and DVD. Full album plus some extra tracks. Great sound and visuals...what more could any music fan want. Stones at their best in small theatre up close. One can almost feel the sticky, sweaty atmosphere. Recommend.

Been playing the cd part of this in the car since it arrived. Sticky Fingers live is an excellent companion the studio album.

I own at least 3000 albums and SF would be in my top 5 yet I was underwhelmed by this gig. It was a bit sterile. Far better in their contemporary Marquee gig and the live CD on the remastered audio release I think it’s unlikely I’ll rewatch. Shame.

Excellent cd/DVD package featuring the entire Sticky fingers album along with several other Stones classics! The DVD has decent picture quality along with superb sound. The CD also has great sound quality. Recommended!

This a a really good gig and Sticky Fingers is a classic. What's not to like for this price?!

A must for all fans.BEST STUDIO ALBUM they ever did.
