Excellent!
I'm a beginner who's been playing all of a month. Initially I had a bulky plectrum that I bought from my music shop just so I had one to use. I've been doing a bit of learning from JustinGuitar who recommends these Jim Dunlop plectrums for beginners. Well, it took all of 10 seconds to get used to, and I have to say these are brilliant! Quite literally paper thin (hence why it took a little bit of getting used to) but they're so good and make it so much easier to play. The feel of them is good and it makes strumming a piece of cake! Would definitely recommend to a beginner.

A good all round plectrum - especially if just starting out
It's hard to write a review for a plectrum (it is just a plectrum after all!) but I like this make. They have a textured top which makes it easier to grip, which has especially helped my beginner son, who kept dropping plectrums when playing (usually into the guitar body!). I would recommend these thin ones for any beginner (although I know many experienced players who use these also) as they are flexible, making strumming much easier, but do not feel weak or flimsy. Will definitely order these again.

Great for beginners
Good plectrum, great price. Being really thin this makes strumming a bit easier when you are just starting to learn to play guitar. The writing on them adds to the grip and stops it from flying out of your hand. You are obviously going to get some of that 'clicking' sound when strumming due to them bending which is why after a while I got the 0.46 Jim Dunlops as well.

Great value
Great value and quality if youโre looking for a multi pack of the same plectrum. Delivery took a while so perhaps not the best option if youโre in a rush

Nice and thin for a beginner
I like that they are thin which has been better for me as beginner to guitar when strumming. Thicker ones didn't quite work so well but I'll move back to those as I progress. Game changer for me

Not all picks are the same!
Iโve had many, many picks over the years but keep coming back to Jim Dunlop picks. Iโve lost count of the number of picks that have slipped loose from my fingers because they have no grip. This is not the case with these picks. Theyโre a good size and the embossed name really helps to hold them in place. I really like a flexible pick, and the .46 gauge on these are perfect for my playing style.

GREAT PICKS, GREAT PRICE
Great picks and at a fraction of high street prices - I find the heavy ones (over 0.5mm) best for picking single notes, and the light ones (under 0.5mm) more flexible and best for strumming, but buy a variety and test them for yourself - you can get the whole set from 0.38mm to 1mm for a couple of pounds, and this firm are top notch at customer service.

Great learner strumming pick.
As a total novice I was struggling to strum with a thicker pick. When I learnt there were such things as thinner plectrums, I tried one out and my strumming was suddenly less harsh due to the plectrum being more forgiving on the strings. A few weeks with this gauge pick, and suddenly I was strumming a lot more proficiently. I still revert to this thickness when learning a new piece as causes a lot less 'twang' on the strings. I would totally recommend, even for someone who is a good guitarist. I am now 5 months in and this helped me a lot to sound slightly less awkward.

Loved grip and flexibility but it comes with negative side.
This pick comes with a company logo stamped out. And this was a really great idea - it does not fall out of your fingers easy. Good feature for beginners. Also it is flexible - allows many mistakes. On the other side - it makes not wanted noise - could disappoint some people. In general this product is good if bought for a right reason with the understanding of its strong and weak aspects.

Not worth
Do not buy it's a total waste of money and price point it's too high

Durable and flexible
I like Dunlop picks. They are durable, they rarely break when I use them hard. They are nylon so they have a great flex. 46mm is the thickness I prefer because it is hard enough for picking and soft enough to get a great rythm sound. Thumbs up, have used them for decades.
