Review: Excellent, does exactly what it should. - A bit pricey but this stuff is excellent for marking out, should last me a long time. This dries fairly quickly and is used for marking out only and not for testing the fit of (for e.g.,) a morse taper shank in a socket. Use non-drying blue for that job. Only a very thin coat of Dykem is needed, a thicker layer will not produce very fine scribe lines. Review: Good marking fluid - Very good product the built in brush holds more fluid than is needed for most of my smaller parts, but it takes a little push on the side of bristles in the neck of the bottle to drain the brush, leaving a good enough quantity to cover a 50mmx 50mm plate. Haven’t used similar product in years, previously bought a small tin of paste but stays wet .** A: Yes, this dries fairly quickly then you mark out. Your paste that doesn’t dry is for checking the fit between two surfaces.
