Make your balls happy
Found it hard to get rhythm at 1st but once you get the hang of it your off... Hardly put it down lol.. Dont over do it to begin with or u might end up with your nerves twitching for hours like I experienced, but dont let that put you off .. highly recommend this to anyone , no need to spin fast just take your time go at your own pace.. You definitely feel the burn in the forearm and eventually you ache in the shoulder but nothing in life comes easy , if it did wheres the fun in that ?.. Try it and if you dont like it give it to your other hand Haha... Honestly you'll love this one that lights up the faster you go.. it fights against you creating resistance .. Brings back strength in your arms and makes your heart pump , excellent wee exercise tool ..Loads of fun, compete with friends lol..

OOOooo it lights up!
Recently I seem to have gained a RSI in my wrist and it spread to my elbow, so some movements would make me wince. I also had to modify my workouts at personal training, but my PT suggested wrist exercises and mentioned the Powerball. I had seen the Powerball about 10 years ago, it was the one with the cord to wind it up, that seemed fiddly, but was fun to use. I checked it out on Amazon and found a few at various prices. I've learned the hard way that really cheap usually means a copy/knockoff, so I looked into the options. I found the original Powerball, checked out the bad reviews - I always do this as it gives me an idea about the product, the quality and the seller. I also know to take some reviews with a pinch of salt (there's just no pleasing some people, some are serial complainers, some never bother to give the seller a chance to rectify, some seller couldn't care, etc, etc). I didn't see a pattern to give me any worries about making this purchase, and I was pleasantly surprised the seller took time to respond to each individual issue and ask for the chance to sort it (I could feel their passion for their product and can see their reputation clearly means a lot to them). So based on this I made my purchase. So what do I like? It was well packaged, it felt like a quality product, the instructions were easy to follow, it's intuitive to use and you know when it's spinning properly, oh and it lights up :D (bonus - I like pretty sparkly things!!) So what don't I like/could be better? I found the arrows to tell you which direction to wind it up a little difficult to see (I used a pen to draw round the arrow to make it more visible), I don't seem to have got the hang of being able to read the stats/display, as it is still rotating when I'm trying to see the stats, then it stops and no longer visible once it stops. Not really an issue for me, but thought I'd mention it. I'm sure I'll get there! Anyway, I've only been using the Powerball a short while, it's hard to say how much it's helped, but the discomfort in my wrist does seem to be reducing. (I have also bought a vertical ergonomic mouse and wrist rest mouse pad, as well as some additional stretching exercises for my wrist - I spend a lot of time on the laptop!) I enjoy using the Powerball, it's a challenge to keep it spinning and getting it to spin faster. I'll definitely keep using the Powerball even after the RSI has improved.

Good build quality and easier to use than previous models.
Good build quality and easy to use. However I dislike the fact the LCD panel doesn’t hold its charge when the rotor stop spinning. This isn’t generally a problem, just a dislike. It works your forearms, but don’t expect to build any muscle size using this. It will just improve your forearms overall health and stamina. I’ve had the string start version before, which is annoying to startup, and thus I just stopped using it. It is a bit of a novelty item unless you are using it for rehab. So I guess I’ll stop using it after a few months, especially as I can’t use it at work due to the noise it makes, drawing attention to its self.

Great Concept
As a retired mechanical engineer, I find the Powerball a very interesting, if not genial concept. I understand it has been around for years, but I only recently came across it. Being of a somewhat curious nature regarding technical gadgets, I decided to acquire the NSD Auto Start, as this seemed to come out with the best scores at Amazon. However, like several others, I had problems starting the Powerball, it just “petered out”. I kept on trying though, and after many failed attempts, I finally got it working. It was just a matter of technique, small movements of wrist only – if you get it right, you feel the resistance kicking in immediately. It is fun – addictive – and really challenges the muscles in my forearms. I highly recommend the Powerball if you want to exercise your forearms but be aware: you may have to persevere a bit in order to get it working properly.

Excellent product
Bought to help improve my wrist, hand and arm strength for golf. After trying to get it working, I was struggling, therefore I contacted the company for help. I was nearly immediately contacted and offered a video call at my convenience to get initial issues resolved. At the agreed time, the CEO of the Company (Rory) video called me and very quickly seen and corrected my technique. I was up and running straight away. What an amazing product, really gives your wrist and forearms a good work out. Outstanding product and superb customer service. Thank you

Brilliant so far!
5 stars so far, a few days in. Dodgy left wrist due to 10 yrs of stop/start boxing taking it's toll. Unsure what the condition is but grip was getting weak with some pain and a lot of clicking. Got instant relief the first time I used it. I think because it encourages you to use smooth/full range of motion. The level of resistance can be kept low by keeping rotations low. Perhaps where some have had complaints, they are not easing into it. Using a few times a day and the lasting effect afterwards seems to be increasing. You feel a food burn in your forearms but for those looking, this will be more for definition/endurance rather than size building. Obviously for me that's just a nice bonus. I'll revisit review in the future as I think this is a product that could really help a lot of people for a multitude of reasons.

So far so good
I am a guitarist planning for my next grade and i have overplayed/over strecthed not warmed up properly.... not sure the exact reason - i was diagnosed with tednonitis in my left hand (i'm right hand for reference). I have spent a few weeks in a compression glove which i really did find helped with the pain but not enough to eradicate the pain when playing Not playing at such a critical time for me is extremly frustrating so i decided to follow up on a facebook sponsored post in regards to the powerball. I decided against the cord start and went for the mid range model - my thought is if this does what it claims then it will be something i can use use to warm up with forever. I spoke directly with Powerball via their website and told them of my issue and they advised 3*30 seconds every day and then build up speed and time as my wrist get stronger. I am about 8 days into my rehab with this ball and i can defiently start feeling improvement in my wrist. i am playing guitar but limiting my time down to the bear minimum. It sounds form other reviews that people get stuck getting it going. If you can cirle your wrists you will easily get the technique. I had it down in about 5 mins of playing with it. If you dont circle your wrist it then thuds against the inners which lacks momentum and means you are not cirlcing. I personally at this point dont care for the screen. Maybe once i get more into i will start to use to up my arm strenght which would make it a useful feature - but currently cant comment on that aspect. I am going to leave 4 stars for this item at this point because i have not come out the other side. But, i will definitely revist this post in a few weeks and update it. Either 5 stars if it fully recovers or downgrade if it doesn't do as advterised in regards to my rehabilitation. So far so good though but only time will tell. edit This has made one difference to my tendonitis, its is now a lot worse - i followed the plans like said, i am now having to have physio on my arm at the local clinic as the issues which was in wirst has now gone into my elbow. I cant be sure what has caused my injurey to increase but the only variable has been my use of this ball. i have been warned about using it anymore so i am now left with a £50 pound paper weight.

Great product.
Build quality is good, it provide an excellent arm/wrist workout. Looks great, and the LEDs indicate which RPM you have reached. I use it to develop wrist snap strength for squash. It's also versatile in that you can adjust the speed and resistance via your movements to suit your needs, be it rehabilitation or a full workout. The only con I can think of is that the digit panel is moot. Considering that it doesn't show unless the ball is rotating at a certain level, and fades quickly after the ball stops moving, it's hard to see the metrics.

My Forearms Ascended to a Higher Plane of Existence
I bought this thing thinking, “Yeah, sure, a little wrist workout. How intense could it be?” Oh. Oh, sweet summer child. The moment I strapped my hands onto this torture device disguised as fitness equipment, the universe shifted. My forearms ignited like twin suns. Veins appeared that I’m pretty sure didn’t exist 10 minutes prior. I saw colors I’ve never seen. I heard distant Viking horns. At one point, I’m 90% certain my ancestors were cheering me on. Halfway through the first rep, my brain tried to file a complaint with OSHA. But it was too late — the roller had already chosen me as its host. The strap whipped, the weight spun, and I swear a small storm cell formed in my living room. The dog left. My wife came in, saw me shaking like I was defusing a bomb, and immediately walked back out. Smart woman. By the time I hit rep three, my forearms felt like I’d been arm-wrestling God. But did I look in the mirror afterward? Yes. Did I flex? Also yes. Did I whisper “worth it” even though I couldn’t feel my elbows anymore? You bet. If you want gentle, pleasant exercise, look elsewhere. If you want forearms carved from granite and the hand strength of someone who can open even Costco-grade pickles, this is your Excalibur. Highly recommend — but only if you’re ready to question your mortality.
