Work well. Easy to program.
Work well. Have to find a place to cut them. Batteries Plus was the best price for cutting the keys I found. Easy to program as long as you have a working key; dead battery didn't matter

Fantastic Replacement Keyfobs
Had the keys cut by a locksmith and I had them programmed from the one remaining key I had in a minute. Works perfectly and saved hundreds over a dealership.

Easy-to-use
Easy to replace the old broken fob, and worked like a charm.

Works but fell apart
These remotes are ok. One fell apart and had to be glued. That will make changing the battery fun in the future! Getting the key cut was $15 - $100+, so call around! Programming on an Equinox is a piece of cake.

Great for spare key
But because I needed spare keys for my 2014 equinox buttons work accurately very easy to program great idea to for backup when you need a spare key

Not for a 2019 Impala
For clarity of explanation of programming, I highly recommend the YouTube video by PYR automotive, “How to Program a Chevrolet Impala Smart key Remote Fob”. Couldn’t be explained any better. Still it’s easy to fail (Don’t forget to use the Fob to lock the car to finish the procedure). Allow a lot of time. Still perseverance will be rewarded. I think I tried three times before I got it right, but the first try was according to a different instructor. In all about 2.5 -3 hours for me. That was okay this time because I was hanging out in the Walmart parking lot while the wife was shopping. Actually made the waiting a little better. Before you try to program the fob you need to get it cut (copying) the cut from the other key I hope you have. Search for an “automotive locksmith”. Pretty sure it can’t be done by the box stores or kiosks. There comes a time in the procedure when all existing key fobs will no longer work. So you need to have them all close by for the programming. After my second attempt, I was in a car in the Walmart Parking lot Saturday night at 10:00, and realized I no longer had a working key for my car. A little bit of an adrenaline. Third time was the charm. Proved it when my old fob started working again. But the new one would only lock and unlock doors. It would not permit starting. Two came in the package. And I also have a 2014 impala. Which is different because it is not a push button start. Call me a glutton for punishment, I’m going to give it a try. As for the 2019, this afternoon I stopped at the dealer, provided the VIN, bought a GM fob and have confidence I will be able to program it after it’s cut. I suppose getting it cut could be considered optional. Problem is you don’t want to be locked outside your car with no power. Only time you ever need it to be cut.

Great quality and works!
After reading other reviews, I have to agree that the quality and functionality is accurate and solid. I think the only difference in ratings may be more on the questionable price or location for the keys to be cut. Many suggested ACE hardware, locksmith, or going to the dealer. First we tried out local ACE Hardware. Nope, they don't cut those keys. Next we went to the dealer. Our Chevy dealer in Shelbyville, TN was happy to cut the keys for free. I had already explained to my husband how other reviewers mentioned the self-programming aspect...and it worked. Programming our 2012 Equinox: Insert old key in the ignition and start the car. Wait about 5 seconds, turn car off, and remove key. Insert "newly cut" key. Start the car, wait 5 seconds, turn off car, and remove key. Repeat for additional keys. By the way, our "self start" on the new fob works perfectly! Simply click "LOCK" twice, then hold down the auto start button. (It's the one under the lock button that looks like a broken circle.") To turn the car off, hold down the broken circle button again. Just as others though, holding down the "open trunk" button does not work for us.

Shipped with almost flat batteries
Both shipped with extremely weak/dead batteries. Other than that they do work. It took several attempts to program. The range is about half was oem fobs were. Decent value whish they would put some pride in their work
