Put batteries in and worked straight away. All short cut buttons work. No faffing with TV. Brought to replace one with a dodgy button. Really pleased. Bargain price too

I received this replacement remote recently and have had the chance to try it out over the past couple of days. Setup was as straightforward as it gets, I just inserted two AAA batteries and it connected to my TV instantly without any pairing or programming. That alone is a big plus if you just want something that works straight out of the box. I’ve been using it mainly as a replacement for a lost original remote, covering everyday tasks like switching inputs, adjusting volume, and navigating smart TV apps. In terms of performance, the signal response is quick and consistent. There’s no noticeable lag when pressing buttons, and it works reliably from different angles across the room. The layout closely mirrors a typical smart TV remote, so it feels familiar to use and didn’t take any time to get used to. Build quality is decent for a replacement unit. It’s lightweight but not flimsy, and the buttons have a soft press with a clear tactile response. The casing feels solid enough for daily use, though it doesn’t have quite the same premium feel as an original remote. One small downside is that the buttons aren’t backlit, which can make it slightly awkward to use in a dark room. Also, the plastic finish is quite basic, so it can feel a bit less refined in hand compared to higher-end remotes. Overall, it has met my expectations and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a straightforward and reliable replacement without any setup hassle.

Worked perfectly, but stopped working after 8 months of use. Will buy another though as it worked and it’s a nice price.

This is a great remote. Feels more then I paid. Quick use, started with the television first time. Will buy again when the kids ruin the next one

I was very surprised and very happy with this remote when it first arrived. I liked the clicky buttons and they all worked perfectly. I received the remote in August and already it's faulty (started playing up in October). Every now and then the buttons don't want to work and then suddenly might work for one click, and then nothing. I've changed the batteries and it's had no damage. Unfortunately I'm going to have to order a new one, and this time I'm going for an authentic Samsung remote. Not happy about what it will cost but the reassurance is enough.

Received remote would not work straight away, I had to move my sound bar for the infa red signal to work,problem i have not had with original remote. Working now to a degree as the Netflix,amazon buttons do not work even after I pressed the 2 buttons as indicated .
