Review: A great creative way to reflect on the Bible - I bought this Bible at the beginning of 2018 as I deciding I would use Bible journalling as a way of helping me reflect on the Bible passages I read. I chose this version, as opposed to others, as it does not have some illustrations already printed ready to colour, as I felt this might influenced my thoughts on what I was reading. It is a Bible with clear print and beautiful plates of Hannah Dunnett's pictures. The text is one column which makes journalling in the wide margins easy as you don't have to choose which column of text you will 'illustrate' with words and/or pictures. The paper seems thin but I am using 'Gesso' to stop the colour bleeding through and this seems to be working. I have not tried without it. I am not 'good' at art but I find this a really useful way to reflect on the Bible passage I have read and to really work out what God is saying to me from it at this time and I am surprised and pleased with the results I have made. It is working for me. Review: Both functional and beautiful! - For a start, this is a beautifully produced book: clear, legible text on good quality paper; and nicely bound so that it lies flat when it's open. It has a wide margin (a good 5cm) on every page, allowing plenty of space for notes and jottings. The Hannah Dunnett factor comes in with 32 pages of her trademark illustrations, spread through the book on 16 double-sided colour plates. Like all art it's inevitably a matter of personal taste, but I think anyone who appreciates her designs would be glad to own this bible. We bought it for our 13 year old daughter, who loves it.

A gorgeous bible!
A beautifully written and presented bible, which in my opinion, is an easy to read and understand translation. It has all you can ask for in a journalling bible such as wide margins, thick paper, and dark text plus selected parables and miracles of Jesus and a table of weights and measures at the back of the bible. Then you have the gorgeous double-sided illustrations to inspire contained in the bible itself and the double spread endpapers with illustrations by Hannah Dunnett.

A beautiful Bible for study, & appreciation!
Beautiful book with lots of full colour pages of Hannah's painted interpretations of scripture (each piece lists the verse references of the painted texts)....a joy to mull over, & wide margins give space for notes or "journalling" artwork by the owner. Covers are double page printed inside, there is also an elastic page marker from the rear cover

Beautiful artwork.
I love this. The art work is stunning and the space to make your own notes and doddles is fab too. Beautiful bible I will use all the time.

Beautiful illustrations
I bought this as it looked a little different to the other bibles. The illustrations really add to it, although they are not to everyone's taste. Have just begun bible journaling and this has given me the lift I needed.
