Great first theory book
A lovely introduction to music theory. Bought two copies - for 5- and 7- year olds. They’re both enjoying working through the exercises. Ideal for beginner musician of any age.

This was perfect for what I required
This was perfect for what I required. I needed to find a good quality boomd that was reasonably priced and I found it here. It worked perfectly and the seller also gave exact dimensions on the width as well as the length of the item. The photo and what I received were identical too so that was great. Corresponds nicely with the layout of Pauline Hall's piano tutor book
Lovely theory book for beginner children. One issue dealt with per page, with many of the activities presented as games. Corresponds nicely with the layout of Pauline Hall's piano tutor book, "Tunes For Ten Fingers". My only issue is that I like to use the word "beats" instead of "counts", but the book alternates between the two terms. I have whited out "counts" throughout the book and replaced it with "beats". But that's just a wording issue. Otherwise, great book.

Easy to read
Recommended by our daughters piano teacher musician friends. Daughter enjoys playing from it and easy to read for her age which is 8 years. Highly recommended

A definite must for young pupils
This is fantastic for my young pupils. It's fun and engages them in music theory. I have not had one complaint from any of my music students. I recommend this book for young pupils (6 - 11).

My Daughter is currently learning to play violin (1year) and has joined a music centre, where she will also do theory. It was recommended by them that we buy this book. So far, my Daughter is enjoying working through the book and says that is is fun!
