Great quality
Bought as a birthday gift for my husband and he loves it. Its very good quality, sturdy and a very good size. Luckily the instruction manual for assembly was easy to follow which is good as this is not always the case when items arrive unassembled. Which brings me onto the assembly part. You will need an adjustable wrench, ratchet wrench, flat head screwdriver, 2 x people, small fingers, patience and a degree in engineering! It was no easy job and took a good while. However, was worth it in the end and thoroughly happy with end product

Really handy and better than expected.
Really handy truck and I wish I'd bought one years ago. I own some land which is only accessible down a rough track with no vehicle access (unless I get a quad and the missus won't let me get one.......) so I have to carry everything down by hand or in a wheelbarrow. With a wheel barrow you have to support the load as well as lift part of it which makes multiple journeys very tiring and you have to ensure the load it totally balanced. But with this I can load up, not worry too much about making the load even and as the track is slightly down hill I can just leave the weight drive the cart and focus on steering. Positive points- easy to put together, makes carrying awkward loads nice and easy, seems quite tough so far, handle is long enough to ensure you don't get your feet caught under the wheels (like with some other smaller trucks I've tried in the past.) Only negative points are due to the fact that I wish it had a brake of some kind and when empty it is very noisy over rough ground. I'm guessing the addition of a brake would have put the price up quite a bit, especially if they linked the brake to the handle. And the noise can be reduced by simply removing the sides and strapping them down when you are moving it about when empty.

Good quality but........
Good quality,. Needs two persons to fix it. Not everybody has the requitrd tools. The already fixed meshing makes it hard to built. It would be better if you could fix it yourself with screws. Not easy to built.

Ideal product, assembly difficult !
Product once assembled is fantastic, easy to manoeuvre and chunky wheels are great on rough ground. Very solid. Assembly, however, is neither quick nor easy ! It's almost impossible to use a wrench effectively as the space is tight to access a number of the bolts, etc. I ended up using pliers to grip and/or 2 ratchets, one either side, to grip and one to turn. Also, clearer instructions on attaching handle and postioning would be helpful !

Good product
A bit fiddly to assemble but made from sturdy components and a really robust trolley.

Good but fixings could be more robust
Bought this for use at a festival. All went ok with the assembly (instructions were fine) but the steering mechanism hole didn’t line up with the main axle hole. We had to improvise and use a different nut/bolt to fix. The wheel threads were not good so the wheel nuts would not tighten up, again we had to repair and use a different wheel nut. We used for 2 days and then on 3rd day we lost one of the side clamps as it had worked it’s way loose, again we improvised with a tent peg. It did last the weekend and we’d have been screwed without it but did expect a better quality for the price. With our new fixings it should last another couple of weekends at least.

Great for what we are using it for
Excellent little cart we are going to use it to move logs from the bottom of our garden to the house for the log burner as carrying buckets of them was getting difficult as we are pensioners

Poor quality copy of the original design
This is the third cart of this type that I have bought in the last 20 years and compared to the previous ones it is rubbish. The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box was that the axles appeared to be more robust than the previous ones, which was good, but then I saw that the Ackerman steering had been replaced by a cheaper pivot system. I then started to assemble it and found that the front axle would not fit on to the pivot; a little investigation showed that the holes in the axle did not line up. Fortunately I have a drill bit of the right diameter and I was able to line up the holes. Then I found that the thread cut into the pivot is not long enough to allow me to tighten the nut down on to the axle sufficiently to prevent too much play in the steering; I overcame this by putting washers, from my own stores, under and over the axle to enable the nut to grip. Next I tried to connect the handle tube to the handle bracket using the bolt provided. This bolt has a screwdriver slot in the head and it is provided with a Nyloc nut at the threaded end. It is very difficult to tighten a Nyloc nut If you are trying to to hold the bolt with a screwdriver in a slot, so I found a suitable hexagonal bolt in my stores and used that instead. Then I tried to attach the handle to the other end of the tube. Two positions are available, one with the handle vertical and the other with it horizontal. I tried horizontal and discovered that the holes in the handle did not line up with the holes in the tube because of excess weld in the socket in the handle that the tube is suppose to go into. So I tried the vertical option only to find that the holes in the tube were too small for the bolt!! On we go to the wheels. In earlier versions of this cart the wheels are secured to sub-axles with Nyloc nuts; in this version they are secured by split pins. Finally, the sides. These are attached to the base by R-pins which pass through brackets on the base and the sides. The internal diameters of most of the holes in the brackets are too big for the pins and the sides are very loose. The instruction book says that you need one adjustable spanner and two people to assemble this cart, you really need one person and a good socket set. I have been in engineering for over 60 years and this must be one of the worst examples of a manufactured product that I have ever seen. Please refund my purchase money and make arrangements to collect this heap of junk. Trevor Nicholson

Sturdy, versatile cart
Nifty cart for hauling all kinds of stuff around the garden and yard. Holds about as much as a medium-sized wheelbarrow. The tires roll over obstacles easily, and the cart navigates stairs and other irregularities in the landscape pretty well even when the cart is loaded. Easy to assemble if you're reasonably mechanically inclined. In a couple of places I found the instructions a little vague (like how to install the panel locks), but I figured it out without too much trouble. The plastic liner is a nice accessory -- though I'm skeptical it is thick enough to last long with garden use. I've already poked a hole in it hauling branches. I'm considering making a liner out of a more durable material using the existing one as a template. Also, the one that came with it did have a strong manufactured plastic smell out of the box. After airing out overnight, though, the smell went away.
