Canespro Fungal Nail Treatment Set for Toenails | Plasters & Nail Scraper Included

This is probably the best product I have ever bought from Amazon. I have had a nasty fungal big toe for years and had tried all sorts of home treatments but nothing worked. I ended up going to an expensive podiatrist who suggested a two-pronged attack of laser treatment and medication - an expensive option and I didn't fancy medication as there are potential side effects. I found this product on Amazon and thought I'd have one last go myself. I used it for about 2 weeks to totally remove the nail, this was painless, then I treated my "naked" nailbed with lamisil cream daily for some weeks as the nail gradually grew back. First photo is fungal nail then pic 2 is halfway grown back and third pic today. Still a bit of growth to go and a tidy up but the fungus has completely disappeared. I'm overjoyed. It has taken about 6 months but well worth it. I can't recommend this product highly enough.

Like most people with this cursed ailment, I've tried a few things and they've all been useless. I don't know about anybody else but I haven't got the time or dedication to spend six months painting my toenails daily in the vague hope it might get better, with no visual evidence of any actual improvement. This stuff came recommended from a web article as being fast and it's not kidding. The treatment cream is a strong urea formula that softens the revolting brittle nail. There's also a nasty little multitool that's absolutely great for poking, slicing and generally fetching off the grotty bits of nail that you will now be able to remove. I also used a battery powered nail file I've got to bring stuff off but you could just use an emery board. Please understand - you will probably lose the majority of the nail - however, I've just put some falsies on for now which I couldn't do because of the infection. Now the horror has gone, it should grow back not looking like the stuff of nightmares. The plasters are a bit weird - after the first few days I just sliced a section of one off each day and used that. They need to improve those. They're rubbish. But, big story, I had two infected big toe nails that have been causing me utter despair for a couple of years. This stuff has done the job in a couple of weeks. I'm confident that if it returns, I'll be able to nix it quickly with this stuff too. I know it's a bit pricy but it's a lot less than the cumulative price of all the stuff I bought which didn't work. So start with this I'd say.

Be warned, this is the fungal equivalent of total war... The Bad - The plasters that came with this kit were totally and utterly useless for me. Perhaps I'm not getting it, but they were just horrendous.... That ultimately makes this an extremely expensive tube of urea ointment and a plastic scraper. I ended up using some normal flexible fabric type plasters which worked much better in my opinion. The Good - So far (about 1.5 weeks in) it has almost completely removed all signs of infected nail... well to be honest the entire nail. Since this is an infection I've had for many, many years I'm willing to accept that perhaps the whole nail was infected, even if not visibly so. In the past the full nails have indeed been visibly infected. Do bear in mind however that your nails may look a fair bit worse before they start to look better. If you are a strategic thinker, you may want to give this a crack in autumn to give time for your nails to sort themselves out by summer time so you can strut your stuff barefoot at the beach in style. I will update this review once the treatment is complete, but to be honest it has done the job it was supposed to by removing the infected nail and now I would say the remainder is really down to the anti-fungal cream/ointment used while the nail is growing back. If this doesn't work then I really can't see what would short of actually amputating my toes. Update - Well I had two nails that were completely infected all the way through to the root, and the worst affected one has now grown back and is completely cured! Amazing after 16+ years of trying so many things! The other one has grown back much improved but unfortunately not quite like a perfect new nail as the other one did - I think I probably stopped using the canespro a little too soon on this one as I didn't manage to remove all the nail (big toe). I used clearzal as my anti-fungal option and I think that goes well with this treatment so I would recommend it. I'm now doing a second attempt on the not-perfect nail to see if I can replicate the results from the cured one. Overall this is the only treatment that has achieved anything for me so it's a win in my opinion. Just over priced and stupidly shaped plasters!

Well it may work for some, but perhaps not a miracle cure for everyone. I'd like to say that for a small tube of medication, some plasters and a borderline useless plastic scraper, it's a lot of money to ask. At first, for the initial few days I started using this product, there were some immediate signs of improvement. But from there on, there's been little change. I have been using this product religiously every day, combined with tea tree oil to soak into the infection below the nail. Whether I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. But unfortunately this product didn't quite live up to expectations.

This product is brilliant! I’ve had a toe nail that come off 4 years ago and it was ingrown and had fungus to! The nail grew back but was still ingrown and very thick so I have tried a lot of creams from chemist I would have to file the nail down as it was so thick which didn’t really work So bought this last week ( not cheap) BUT after 2 applications it has softened the ingrown bit so I can tease it out of skin area where it extremely thick and wedge in so I will put in a few more applications and remove the ingrown area and keep monitoring it when it does eventually grow back which will take a long time I expect ? For me it is a case of softening the thick area and trimming it out a bit each night ! Only this cream has or I believe could do this for me ? I wouldn’t put across the whole nail just the area that’s affected but if you have a thick nail then yes put across whole nail and file ! It does what it says so I’m very pleased

I damaged my nail over 10 years ago ice climbing. It became infected and Then has worsened slowly over the years until in became thick, yellow and lifted away from the nail bed on the one side. It was as it sounds, quite horrible. I've tried other products (Scholl etc) and had zero success. I took interest in the Amazon reviews and thought I would give it 'one last try' and I'm glad to say I've not been disappointed. I followed the instructions to the letter and, as many others have testified, used Micropore to keep the plasters that they supply on. The plasters are not great but with this additional support they did the job. I also ditched the plastic file they supply as this was pointless. I used a foot file as a good substitute, the kind use for getting ride of dead skin on the bottom of your feet. I had to be ruthless with soaking filing, cutting etc. which did cause my nail bed to bleed on occasion, but I almost entirely got rid of the fungus and nail in around a week. the nail bed looks pink and healthy. I also started using a fungal cream, Daktarin Aktive Micronazole Nitrate, on the nail bed when I started to see it. I've been using that two or three times a day by itself when the nail had disappeared entirely. I've started to see fresh nail growing and that look clean. So far so good! Good luck with yours and i hope you are as delighted as I am after a few weeks of trying. UPDATE It’s been a while and I thought I’d provide an update. The fungus is back despite this attempt to rid myself of it!

I had quite a bad nail infection, my nail was yellow and half of it was raised from the nail bed. I have used the treatment for 4days after clipping the raised nail completely off and it has worked, my nail and the bed are looking healthy. I even went to the chemist for them to look at it as i was surprised it work in 4 days, as it states 2-3 weeks and they said it looked healthy and there is no sign of fungal so I have stopped using it now but i am keeping a very close eye on it when it start to regrow. The tool was a bit pointless to remove the nail, so I used nail clippers to scrap at the remaining part of the nail to make sure all the infected part was removed, I was quite brutal with the nail when cutting and scraping but it didnt hurt and I'm so happy that it has gone. I have half a nail, but it looks so healthy you wouldn't really notice unless you looked at it really closely. I did use tape around the plaster, but that was for my own peace of mind, I think they would of been fine without. Would highly recommend this product and I am so glad I bit the bullet and spent the money on it, down side is I have half a toe nail but it was not attached to the nail bed when I began so I can live with that, I wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars!

It takes time, however if you stick to it every day the bad part of the nail starts to dissolve away and once it’s gone I used the cream for another week to make sure. When it grew back the infection was gone. So pleased with it!

Ho dato questa valutazione perché ritengo questo prodotto molto valido per il trattamento di funghi e muffe delle unghie dei piedi.Dopo aver inutilmente utilizzato i prodotti consigliati dal dermatologo e quelli pubblicizzati dalla TV, ho voluto provare con un prodotto a base d'urea e il risultato è stato strabiliante. Dopo un anno di trattamenti inefficaci finalmente l'unghia è migliorata molto e sono soddisfatta. Consiglio questo prodotto a chi ha problemi di funghi e/o muffe di cui difficilmente riesce a liberarsi. Consiglio di non sprecare soldi acquistando prodotti reclamizzati e ad un prezzo notevolmente più alto. La confezione contiene il trattamento completo :un tubetto di prodotto, una spatola per levigare l'unghia, 2 tipi di cerotti per ricoprirla dopo il trattamento. Meglio di così!

Faccio questa recensione a distanza di quasi un anno. Avevo una micosi alle unghie del piede da oltre 10 anni .. mille cure mille creme usate, mai un risultato .. Ho comprato Canespro e ho iniziato la cura. Ad oggi finalmente ho risolto il problema. Con Canespro si è guarita l’unghia del tutto. Ovviamente questo crema, non se ne trova in nessuna farmacia in Italia, le cose buone gli tolgono dalla piazza.. Consiglio la crema , funziona! Fatte la cura così come descritto nelle istruzioni.

Prodotto davvero valido e conforme alle aspettative, ho da anni infezione acuta alle unghie dei piedi (unghie spesse e scure) questo prodotto mi ha aiutata a rimuovere le unghie infette Ora sto applicando un antifungino per curarle a fondo
