Review: Nice charcoal - This item produces very little smoke especially once it's going, seems pretty easy to light and good quality with very little dust, durability is good and it burns for a long time. I'm not even halfway through the bag and I've already had 3 or 4 barbecues I would say this is great quantity and value for money I will definitely use this brand again
Review: Why didn't I invest sooner... - I haven't even finished my cook yet but I'm impressed. I had many big blocks, it heated up really well in my kamado and I can control the temperature so much easier that it makes me wonder why didn't invest sooner. It also heats it so much quicker with no nasty smoke that cheap stuff gives. I was using Weber briquettes before which wasn't cheap and didn't give nasty smoke but this just feels another level above.

**Q: Ia this actually big k charcoal? It was when i purchased it last year but recent reviews say not. Please advise.**
A: Despite the picture image on the seller's website it is not Big K restaurant Grade Charcoal so suggest you source Big K elsewhere as it is a by far superior charcoal to the one supplied. Very misleading information from the seller

A: Yes, it certainly is big k. Excellent quality grade charcoal which we use for our egg.

**Q: Hi there, is this compatible, or will this benefit from, having a barbecue charcoal chimney starter? Thanks.**
A: I have a chimney that I have had for a long time and only use to top up on a long cook. Take a couple of newspaper sheets, twist them tightly and tie into a knot, place them (2/3) under charcoal and add bar b q lighting fluid, this will soak into the news paper and the charcoal will light easily whatever charcoal you use. Great charcoal.

**Q: Can this be used indoors**
A: As long as you have a chimney for it otherwise you could get carbon monoxide poisoning !

Great stuff. Burns really cleanly. Some of the lumps were a bit too big, but otherwise amazing value and quality.
