Amazing for 2nd degree burns
Scalded the whole my foot and really horrible 2nd degree burns all over it. The massive blister that covered most of the top of my foot burst not even 24h later, leaving a big portion of raw flesh exposed, weeping and extremely painful. Extremely painful 😣 didn’t want to go to A&E só been trying to heal and keep the wound from infection with all I can and this gel is amazing! Keeps the area cool which massively helps with the pain, seems to be doing a great job at keeping the wounds free from infection and also keeps it moist which helps with the healing process . Using it together with gel burn plasters, cleaning it gently with cold water and Castile soap, changing the dressing at least once daily and already noticing a big improvement after 48h of using this gel. BTW , by big improvement I no longer scream when I try to walk and it definitely shows healing progress. Alternative would be most probably facing hours on end in hospital, possible skin grafts (which are still a possible outcome depending on healing) and even more inconvenience than already done. Avoiding hospital visit due to chronically ill health and mobility issues. Regardless, for any nasty burns , wholeheartedly recommend this product!

Excellent product
Every home should have a supply of this product at hand. Hospital staff recommended. 10/ 10 for minor burns Updated: every home should have these available- the product line was recommended to me by NHS nurses who treated me for a moderate burn to my thumb (using this product although I'm not entirely sure if it was the same brand if that makes a difference to anyone) I can say since that happened 2 years ago I have kept this product at hand in my kitchen (and near my hair straighteners!) at all times, it's been used by myself and friends and every time it's been applied to even the smallest of burns it has been greatly appreciated by all! Takes the heat out of the burn almost immediately, and from what I was told by the nurses that I had previously seen, it stops the burn penetrating further under the skin. I wouldn't rely solely on this (or any other product) for anything more than a minor burn as I'm not a medical professional- however- I do think it could help tremendously in the interim period between a more severe burn happening and receiving medical treatment, should you choose to go to a hospital. Another point to mention is that my university first aid office does not carry a single product to help deal with any type of burns. (!) I understand that this is the norm in most first aid stations (due to health and safety regulations ironically) so it really helps to carry these individual sachets somewhere in your bag, if the unfortunate situation should occur to you or anyone around you. Thank you burn shield!

Great
This works really well to cool a burn. Also contains natural antiseptic and can be put on blistered skin. I will definitely be keeping this in my first aid box.

Get some of this before you need it. Cooling and soothing for minor burns and scalds and sunburn, rashes and grazes.
This is a very good product for taking the 'sting' out of minor burns and scalds, and for sunburn. But it's not a cure all - burns and scalded skin will always respond best to being put under cold, running water for ten minutes, before applying any burn or scald product. This really is very cooling and soothing as a first aid measure, can be used as frequently as needed. It's fine to soak a dry dressing or piece of gauze with this to use as a 'wet' dressing over a sore burn. Any drips can be contained by wrapping cling film round the wet dressing. The 'Tea Tree' ingredient is also antibacterial, so will help keep the area clean. But... (there's always a 'but'...) if the burn is large, or more than just a red patch or a bit of minor blistering, professional help should be sought, but for minor incidents, it's about as good, if not better, than many products marketed as burn treatments. As a treatment for sunburn, and skin grazes, it is very, very good.

Expensive but the value is amazing
I try not to burn myself, but I did something stupid. I was cooking something in the deep fat fryer and at that point, didn't have a slotted spoon. So when I tried to spoon out my golf ball sized food, there was a oil in each. Despite letting the oil drain first from the spoon and then moving the food to a kitchen towel, on this one piece I did something very stupid and despite my brain telling my hand not to do this, my hand did it. I poured the entire thing onto my hand, food and oil. I felt it burn my hand, and between my fingers. I should point out my oil was at 180°C. I put everything down, rinsed my hand under cold water for just 30 seconds and then applied this stuff to my hand. This is where I'm amazed. I don't give full credit to the product, I think there has to be a huge element of luck, but, my hand went a little bit red only. Despite having 180°C oil on my hand for may be 1 or even 2 seconds, it only went a little bit red! I purchased 3 more after this! It is a spray, but it looks like a cream when it's on your hand. And it does smell a little. I totally recommend this to any one who cooks. Don't go for cheaper stuff, get this and have piece of mind that it works.

Good Product but Careless Handling
This is a product I have used before and it is very good/useful to have at hand especially in the kitchen. It really does take the sting out of the singes you can get whilst cooking. My only gripe is that the nozzle was broken off, at some point either with the manufacturer or in transit, but since I still have some left in old bottle I can change over the nozzle from old bottle to new when needed as they are exactly the same dimensions. But I am still taking off stars for carelessness at some point in the process....as I am sick of carelessness!!

Perfect for burns, etc.
Came in perfect condition, well wrapped. Arrived early and had to use it the next day. Sprayed a steam burn from a commercial oven. Does what it says on the tin.
