Can I grow seedlings in there?** A: It is a good, robust tray. I grow my pots of tomatoes in it and use it as a watering tray. **Q: Is this just a single tray?** A: Mine was indeed a single tray. I used it to put the shower pump on it in case of a leak. **Q: Is the underside of the tray smooth? Im hoping to stick adhesive casters to it.** A: Hi Laure H, The underside of the tray is not completely smooth but not far off. There is a couple of small pips of about 1.5mm and a double 'Y' shape of about 0.5mm (like 2 Ys joined at the bottom. I tried to add a photo in the video box but it would not accept it and a message come up telling me that "This file format is not supported" and I could not find an option for uploading photos . I think the 2 pips could easily be cut off with a sharp knife or filed off.
