How to Build a Dungeon: Book of the Demon King Vol. 1

An enjoyable manga to read if you're into fantasy or dungeon books. Good series to consider reading if you can afford to purchase

funny but should be uncensored

First day i got it, i read it four times, thats how good it is in my opinion, one of the best manga around, great art and a good and understanable story

So entertaining at some parts u may even get boner luk cuz ilu get into it so easily even tho its my 1st manga reading ever rly enjoyed.

It was ok and had a surprisingly interesting plot, what there was of it

Make no mistake - this is a hentai title, though a horribly censored one! There is next to no plot and its pretty much just debauchery from cover to cover. The story is about a powerful sorcerer who learns the secret of immortality and uses his new found powers to build a dungeon in order to satisfy his carnal desires. It's much like an adult movie with the story used as filler just to set up the next encounter, and just like in such movies it is predictable in the way that as soon as a new female is introduced you know she'll be defiled three pages on. The big problem is that all of this otherwise explicit content is censored to death, seriously there are frames that are almost entirely obscured by a blur/light-ray/scribble and it just ruins the book completely, it just looks like its been intentionally defaced. Sadly those filler bits of story do more to harm to the the book rather than save it, and it often feels like a commentary on an RPG game. I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I read phrases such as "I need to increase my mana capacity by 500 to expand the next room" and "your are only a level 1 demon, you can not hope to defeat a level 10 warrior without an upgrade spell". If I've learn't one thing reading manga (and watching anime) is that you shouldn't judge a series by it's first volume (or episode) however in this case I really can't find anything good in this at all and I have no intention of buying the next volume nor can I recommend this to anyone.

This manga came in perfect condition. The reason i gave three stars is the lack in the story and the way it was handled. This could of been better maybe we could give it a chance in the next volumes
