The media could not be loaded. The pair come in a nice box, perhaps a strange pair to put together, but they are both nice products. Clock first, ideal travel clock or great for day to day use, I know everyone uses Smart phones for alarms now but I always have a nagging doubt that they are going to fail to go off, you know when you need to be up early doors for a flight! This alarm could not be much simpler set the alarm time pull out the top button and it is pretty much guaranteed go off. The alarm button on top is nice and firm to pull up and more importantly to push in, this makes it unlikely to be accidentally pushed in. There is even a snooze button on the top right of the dial face. The alarm is suitably annoying to ensure you wake without being so loud as to give you a heart attack, see video. The watch, I love the simple form of this watch, it does one thing i.e. tells the time, the face is uncluttered and easy to read. The silicon strap is comfy and obviously waterproof, the watch is water resistance to 3 atmospheres which is about 30 meters. To be honest I had no idea that Braun had watches knowing them more for shavers and the like. Anyway, they do and this one is really nice in my opinion.

Loved the product. Both watch and alarm clock are exactly what I expected. Unfortunately the watch face is scratched and in an unacceptable condition.I’ll update this review to 5 stars upon receipt of the product in new condition (as described).

This is a very plain and simple looking timekeeping combinationThe alarm clock I chose is the black analogue type with hands .I thought it looked more straightforward to read than the digital version and less likely to glow in the dark.This little Clock takes one AA battery (not supplied)You set the alarm hand with the dial on the back. Pull the top button up to set it as on. Press it down when it goes off.There is a little button on the front you can use to light the face or snooze the alarm.The Watch is very straightforward and non confusing.It's just the time in minutes and hours, no second hand , no date.The strap feels like a sort of rubbery silicon stuff.This might be a good watch for an elderly person who gets confused with elaborate clock faces(mistakes the second hand etc),Or just for those who want to tell the time with no bells/whistles/bleeps or an App (eg ME), it has a large face and a large wrist strap so is unlikely to fit a child.Push the 'winder' in after setting .You can just hear a tick if you hold it to your ear else you would have to wait several minutes to check it is actually working.This uses a battery but I havent opened it to see which one.No instructions at all with the watch, only with the clock.It looks like you can register online and see more instructions but apart from seeing the watch battery type, I don't see any reason to .When it runs out, we shall lever the back off and read the battery type straight off the battery.More a watch for a male as the face is very large.It's my little spindly ladies sized wrist in the photos and the strap on tightest setting is a bit loose for me.

The alarm clock/watch combo arrived safely, and they come neatly packed in plain but smart looking outer packaging.The quality of both the watch and clock are very good, and they have a premium appeal to them. The design of them is smart and classy and they are perfect for travelling with if you like to keep things simple.The faces are easy to read, and the clock features a button on the front which dimly lights the face up when its dark. They are practically silent, and the clock runs on a single AA battery. The watch is comfortable to wear for long periods and has quite a large face and strap so would probably fit a male better in my opinion.Overall, I these are very good products and although they are quite pricey you are getting excellent quality and a timeless design from a well-known brand, so I feel they represent good value for money. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel they are easily worth the full five stars!

What a lovely gift set this is. The alarm clock will make a perfect travel partner. It is quite small and doesn't take up much space. You will need 1 AA battery, which is not supplied. The clock is easy to set and beeps when the alarm time is reached. By touching the top it will light up for ten seconds in the dark, for you to see the time, then go dark to make it easy to sleep.The watch has a clear readable face and a comfortable strap to fit different sized wrists. This has kept perfect time since it arrived. This is a great gift set.

For your £55 you get an almost plain white gift box with:A small (2" x 2" x 1") plastic travel alarm clock (battery not included, takes 1 AA). The clock is well made compact and has the Braun logo on the face. This looks like a rebranded generic Chinese made alarm clock Amazon sells for £10. Amazon also sells the Braun version for £20 on its own.A White faced metal cased quartz watch again with the Braun logo on the face. The face is around 1 1/2" diameter and 1/4" thick. The numbers are quite small but the watch face is clear and I found it easy to read. The strap is a wide (almost 1") silicone rubber. It is water resistant with a stainless steel back. The watch is nice and quite understated. I could not find an equivalent on Amazon.This is a nice watch and clock set would make a nice gift but Braun is not a name I would really associate with a wrist watch and I feel you are paying a premium for having it on there. The quality is there but for me the desire to have them is not.

Bought this for myself for travel. Alarm clock to keep on the night stand and watch to wear in countries with higher crime rate (instead of my day-to-day watch). Clock is good, small and convenient. Watch is a bit smaller than I would like (another 2 millimeters in diameter would be great). Still, I got compliments on it from my friends, on simple, elegant, utilitarian design. So why the poor review? Well, on my first approach to airport security, while taking my backpack off, backpack pulls on the watch and the watch is on the floor. Still working, no damage, but the rubber band broke. This wasn't some excessive force and if anything, I would expect the pin holding the band to give in. But no, the pin was still in the watch, the band ripped around the pin. I tried calling Braun support to send me a new rubber band, but they would only sell me a new one. Fortunately, the product is within 30 days and I will return it. I really liked it, but a combo of bad quality of the band and poor product support reduces the rating to two stars. Oh well...
