I’ve tried a few whipped tallow creams and this brand is my favorite. It’s so light and creamy. A little goes a long way. My skin absorbs it instantly. It leaves my skin looking hydrated and feeling extremely soft. I love it! Choosing a scent was difficult. I purchased the coffee vanilla. I didn’t like it. It smelled like burnt coffee to me. The vanilla was undetectable. I also purchased the vanilla orange. I really like the scent. It reminds me of an Orange Julius. I was afraid to order unscented; because of a different unscented tallow product I tried that had smelled like beef. But the unscented is perfectly unscented. I love it!

The texture is far better than the stuff I’ve been buying locally. It’s soft, whipped like you’d expect. Doesn’t stink, a little goes a long way, so it’s worth the money! I feel moisturized, not greasy. I don’t even have to use it everyday to notice a difference in my face. I have sensitive skin and have not broken out. The ingredients are great. Love it!

5 stars because this is a high-quality product that does exactly what it's intended to do. The texture is smooth, whipped, and easy to apply, and the vanilla orange scent is pleasant without being overpowering. It feels rich, nourishing, and leaves the skin feeling soft. I have oily/combination skin, and after using it regularly on my face, I noticed some dryness, tightness after washing, and eventually a bit of flaking. I later found that some other people with oily or combination skin reported similar experiences with tallow-based skincare. While many people seem to love it, it may not be the ideal choice for every skin type, especially if your skin tends to do better with lightweight, hydration-focused moisturizers. Once I switched back to a lighter gel moisturizer, those issues improved. Because of that, I don't think this balm is the best match for my particular skin type. That said, I wouldn't consider this a flaw in the product. In fact, I suspect people with dry skin may have a much better experience than I did and could really benefit from the rich, moisturizing formula. The ingredients are high quality, the product feels luxurious, and I can see why it has so many positive reviews.

I bought this to try as a face moisturizer, and it’s honestly been a great surprise. It goes on smoothly, keeps my skin hydrated all day, and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy. My skin feels softer, and I’ve noticed it looks healthier since I started using it. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts longer than I expected. I’ll definitely keep this as part of my daily routine.

This whipped beef tallow has become one of my favorite moisturizers. The texture is gorgeous — like a thick, whipped cream — and you only need a tiny amount each time. It’s only slightly greasy, smells pleasant, and keeps skin deeply moisturized for hours. I like mixing it with a little of my regular face cream to make it smoother and less greasy on the face. That combo spreads beautifully and feels incredibly nourishing. One note: if you’re someone who tends to hold product in your pores, this may not be the best match. I could see it causing a few pimples for certain skin types, even though it’s been super gentle on my own sensitive skin. Overall, a simple, effective, and skin‑loving product. Definitely recommend.

Very thick product, like butter. I do love the way it feels on my neck and chest area. When used it on my face I started to break out around the side of my eye area. As noted on the package, a little goes a very long way and it's true! I got the Almond Butter and it has a faint mild smell which smells good IMO. Very moisturizing. I do believe during the cold winter months this product will be a god send. I will continue to use. I've been using it for about 1 week now at night and I do feel a difference (soft skin) on my face and neck the following morning. Fine lines are still on my face but to be expected for only using for a week.

This product line won my over to tallow. I previously tried a different brand purchased as a maker's market that smelled lovely at first (lemongrass) but faded to a strong earth scent, like garden dirt. I read that grass-fed tallow, even when processed correctly, can smell earthy, so I was turned off from talow. Hearth & Homestead is completely different. The soft scent carries through the prodcut, and even as it fades on the body, the remaining scent is just natural. The emulsuion is thick and fluffy like really nice buttercream and just a dab on my fingertip covers my arms and legs. While the jar is small, it is going to last a long time since the product is so effective. It blends into the skin quickly, leaving deep moisturization without feeling greasy. My keyboard/phone isn't oily after I rub in into my hands unlike some other heaview body butters. I will be sharing this line with friends who were curious about tallow products. The price is typical for what I've seen at maker's markets and farm stands; considering the quality and efficacy of the product, I don't consider it overpriced as some reviewers have said.

Scent is delightful. Moisturizing is top notch. Improved look of skin over a few weeks. Lasts all day. Highly recommend, although save some for me.🙂

This product is wonderful. When I first opened the jar, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful fragrance of citrus and vanilla. Then applying the product was so pleasant, creamy and refreshing on my skin. It’s very different from other skin care products that I have used and I have used many. Plus it is not overly expensive like many others in this category of skincare. This is a keeper for me and I highly recommend you give it a try.

This tallow cream is lovely, the texture, and very moisturising. I put it on before I go to bed, it makes your face feel sooooo soft, amazing. Love it and would highly recommend it.

I love this! I still have the wrinkles I had before so don't fall into the hype that you won't need bottom or whatever ads on social media say, but my skin feels smoother, more hydrated and healthier. Maybe it will slow down new wrinkles. But a really lovely product!

Well, this is my first time using this kind of product. I washed my face well, gently towel dried then applied all over my face and neck. I ordered the vanilla scented option. The scent is light and pleasant. It is smooth, creamy and easy to blend. It is not left feeling sticky or a residue on my face. For this first time in years my face feels moisturized and healthy. Helps with menopause face and skin changes lacking moister and that glow. After several hours it still feels good on my skin, it didn’t absorb and disappear leaving my face dry once again. I spent so much money on face creams, night creams over the years and nothing seemed to work well. The creams would simply absorb and either I’d re apply or just give up. I absolutely love this stuff. It’s an excellent product and I’ll be ordering a lot more for my skin routine. When people describe this as a 5 star I’m happy to say I totally agree. Now I’m looking to add this to my Birthday and Christmas wish list. I wholeheartedly believe this product was well thought of, tested with keeping the quality at a high standard. Thank you!
