Love it!
This is a great little paper trimmer. It's budget friendly, so not as powerful as the more expensive paper cutters. I really like the ruler where the cutter blade is attached. It pivots open, allowing for easier placement of the paper, and easily closes and is well designed, so it's comfortable to hold the paper down firmly using the ruler, so the paper doesn't move whilst being cut. I'm cutting thin strips of card (180gsm) and the finished cut edge is a little fuzzy, so not recommended for very precise work, but it's more than suitable for my projects, especially at the price. I've bought budget paper trimmers in the past, in this price range and this is the best one by far. I bought the black colour, and it's lovely, very smart looking. The grids are very helpful and the pull out ruler if fantastic, so useful!

Great value paper cutter that handles multiple sheets easily
I bought this paper cutter mainly for cutting sublimation paper and it works very well. It feels lightweight but still sturdy enough for regular use, and the blade cuts cleanly without tearing the paper. One thing I really like is that it can easily cut through around three sheets at once, which saves a lot of time when preparing prints. Considering the low price, the quality is better than expected and it does exactly what I need it to do. Overall, a very good value tool for crafts, office use, or sublimation work.

Lovely addition to an office! ๐
I bought this for my office and itโs a lovely, portable size. Pros: - great size - cuts up to A4 (landscape and portrait) - sharp blade to ensure clean edges - diagram and ruler to ensure straight paper placement - Iโve cut card with this easily - you can lift up the ruler to clean the paper cuttings easily. - colour is vibrant and itโs a good addition to the office. Cons: - the blade placement (where it cuts) isnโt as clear as others, so you need to be careful about paper placement . - it feels a bit flimsy as itโs light plastic but it does the job. Overall, I would recommend this and itโs a good price! Hope this helps!

A paper cutter that's different - but very well designed and works well
When I unwrapped this cutter I was surprised to find how different it was from all that I had used previously. I started using a guillotine type (which I have replaced and use for tough jobs) then moved to the type which has a circular cutter moving along a steel tube. That one would cut cleanly if the cutter wheel didn't ride up whilst rotating which it often did. This cutter is a revelation once you get your head round it - that's because it's different using a small very sharp triangular bi-directional cutter blade in a small orange carrier which slides along the clear pressure bar. This plastic bar is not to line up your cut - as some have complained the slot is far too wide for this because this is the slot for the orange blade carrier to slide along! You lift the clear plastic carrier bar using the grip provided and line your cut up with the narrower slot which the blade runs in which can be done accurately. Press down lightly on the orange blade carrier to depress the blade from its safety position and run the cutter forwards and then back in a smooth motion. I found that since the blade has two cutting edges if a clean cut is not made in forward then it is on the reverse. The blade must be extremely sharp as the cuts seem cleaner than on other cutters. Lift up the clear plastic bar again using the grip and remove the trimmings. With captive guide bars this was always a nuisance as these trimmings often became trapped under the bar - not so here. This cutter handled greetings cards of double 300gsm card with no difficulty providing a neat, clean extremely accurate cut every time. The difference with this cutter is that it is not just a copy of what has gone before for many years but it is a totally new design. Someone has given attention to detail and come up with a marvellous product which outperforms most of the others. My only slight reservation is how rugged is it? The light plastic blade carrier and guide rail look as though they will not last - but time will tell and at the low price replacing the entire cutter may be better than replacing a blade. Congratulations from an engineer to whoever designed this product. Well done! Only had this one day, used it hundreds of times on thick card and have the following design recommendation. Several reviewers have complained about the cutter snagging and tearing the paper. Problem is that white nylon cutter carrier has square edges which can catch the edge of the paper and tear it. I have chamfer cut the two leading corners off mine and it performs a lot better. The alternative seems to be to start the cut not from one end as with a rotary cutter but in the middle of the paper and then move in both directions. This also seems to get around the problem. An easy design change as it only affects the blade carrier mould.

Good
This is a good, simple guillotine, or paper cutter if you prefer, for cutting about 10 sheets of paper at a time. I've been printing two leaflets on a single sheet of A4 paper, needing to cut them in half to produce two A5 sheets. This guillotine has done a good job of doing the cutting for me, provided I don't accidentally grab a few too many sheets. You lift up the plastic ruler with the cutter in the middle and slide your sheets of paper underneath. There are lines to make sure your paper is properly aligned, plus measurement markings at either end of the guillotine. You need to make sure you apply a decent amount of downward pressure on the cutter if you have several sheets, but it cuts well when you do. The guillotine is very lightweight and around 38cm long from end to end.

A4 Paper Cutter
A4 Paper Cutter - Not as strong as it looks. Quite flimsy. Has done the job I needed it for but will look for a l=stringer more sturdy one. Would not recommend cutting more than 4 sheets of paper at a time as it moves around. Cheap at the price.

Lovely little paper cutting tool
Very nice paper cutter, seems to cut very well so far, i havent tried it on ticker paper or card yet but i imagine it will work well on those too. Cute colour that matches my other craft things and light and pretty compact if i need to bring it with me somewhere.

Good budget trimmer for the price
I bought this trimmer because I liked the price, and for the cost it does the job well. It does feel a bit flimsy compared with a Dahle guillotine, but the price difference is quite big, so I think that is fair to expect. It is more of a budget trimmer rather than a heavy-duty machine, but it works fine for basic trimming and everyday cutting jobs. For the price, I am happy with it and it does what I need it to do. Overall, a good option if you are looking for an affordable paper trimmer and do not need something very heavy-duty.

Fantastic
I bought this so I wouldn't have to cut out my D&D group's spell cards with scissors and it works perfectly and slices the paper cleanly. I love that there's different color options too.

Ok for paper but not cards
I was going to use this to cut Pokemon cards for keychains. Blade doesnโt seem sharp enough. I have to go back and forth a few times. I wish I went with something better.
