I did a lot of review searching before purchasing this staple gun. As this one had a good set of reviews and was manufactured in Sweden I thought it was worth a punt. I was not disappointed. This staple gun was slightly smaller than expected which makes it easy to use. It is very well constructed. I also ordered staples from the same supplier and on first use the stapler gave excellent results. I am glad I took the time to research this before buying. Highly recommended.

A Rapesco product, good build quality, reliable and worth the money

Used to staple padded leather onto MDF board, which it managed effortlessly. None of the Staples needed hammering flat, though I'm not sure whether this will be the case with hardwood. The staple gun itself is all metal which gives it a reassuring weightiness, and suggests it will be durable. It is easy to load Staples when you know how (the instructions could have been clearer), and the trigger mechanism doesn't require too much pressure which makes it comfortable to use for longer periods. There are cheaper staple guns, but I'd be surprised if they performed consistently as this one.

When I ordered this I hadn't realised that it was only for upholstery however on arrival I soon understood my mistake when there was no pressure adjustments. That said, for what this stapler has been made for it is a very good tool and has been built to a very high standard, I did test it using some decent fabric against a soft wood and it clipped tight every time. Being as there is no adjustment I'm not sure if it will work on hard wood and I have no way to test that but for softer materials it works very well. When in use the handle section feels soft and makes the use much more comfortable than with many other staplers. On opening, this comes as the stapler unit only, there are no spares or staples, luckily I had some number 13 staples from another gun so I used those. Only buy this if you need it for upholstery and not for regular panels or other products.

I really recommend this handy staple gun . I am using for my upholstery project and I find it very easy to use and sturdy. I haven't tried it on hardwood yet. Excellent product for a fair price.

AWESOME! One of the best hand tools I've ever had. It arrived just 2 days ago (plus a box of Rapid 5/16" staples) and I've already installed more than 60 ft of speaker wiring, stapled about 1 per ft to ceiling and baseboard pine molding, and even a few into oak. NOT ONE failed staple! Compared with other staplers: you don't have to push down; just squeeze the trigger; and there's no recoil. I even tested it into the smooth side of Masonite (about the hardest wood product there is), where the staples at least went halfway: most staplers won't even try. You get what you pay for!
