Q: Why is the shipping $60 for this product?

Because it comes directly from Germany it has to pass through customs. In my case it took two months to receive the grain mill.

First of all this is a grain mill for flour. Some people grind coffee too, but in this case there is a loss of warranty.

Q: Where is this mill made?

Germany. Their website has some good info about this models and others that they make.
