Just buy it! You won’t regret trying it! You won’t ever want to go back to hand painting!!
Wish I would’ve bought 3 years ago!! I was so intimidated by the thought of using a sprayer but this was So easy! Easy to use and to clean! As long as you clean it really well each time, it sprays perfectly! I highly recommend using a scotch bright stainless steel scrubber on the sprayer pin after use and anywhere else paint gets dried onto your sprayer! & REALLY SCRAPE the inside of the tips with the pin they give you - up down/back & forth - not just thru 1 time. Paint can get stuck in the tiny barrel area of the end of the tip and can effect spraying performance. Also, use the viscosity cup anytime you mix new paint- it really matters. I tried to use it without and I got a lot of texture in my paint. Use the stopwatch on your phone to time.. typically any paint I have used needs to be between 40 and about 48 seconds to be able to run through the sprayer and have a good finish. Highly recommend having a wet paper towel handy to wipe the tip of the sprayer while you’re spraying to keep paint from drying out on the tip and messing up your finish too!! I typically wipe the tip off after about 2 or 3 rows sprayed otherwise it will start spitting unevenly bcuz paint starts to dry on the tip!! Also, after I spray I shove a waded up paper towel on the tip and then wrap that with aluminum foil if I’m going to be spraying again in a couple of hours or even the next day - saves me from cleaning it as often! Test spray a piece of cardboard before you start to spray your piece every time just make it a habit because if that sprayer has sat at all, it will change how much paint is coming through that nozzle! I bought a 2nd one of these bcuz I loved it so much & wanted to have a backup so I don’t have to switch back and forth so much between top coats and color! Search up Vonfirm paint sprayer on YouTube - Ray of Sunshine has a great easy tutorial video! Just buy it, use it, you won’t regret it! :) oh and lastly… buy the cheap bags to put paint in & the paint strainer cones - makes life easier and ALWAYS strain your paint… super easy, takes a few extra seconds.

Great for what I needed it for
Purchased this for applying a top coat to furniture I was refinishing, after I realized the bargain high priced paint sprayer I got from an online auction wasted a toooon of paint. This worked really nicely. Not difficult at all to figure out how to use and really simple to clean. It comes with several nozzle sizes so it can be used for multiple types of paint. Worked perfectly for our project with no issues. Would recommend this. Just make sure you read the directions, thin your product if necessary and try it out on a cardboard box before you set it free on the real job at hand.

Great value and works well
1 year into my fist paint sprayer. I used it to paint the outside of my car-entry garage door last and the door's paint still looks brand new. It turned a slow and messy roller application job into an easy, no fuss no muss job. Instructions, filter and thinning tools are all easy to understand and work as intended. Be sure to mask off everything and don't spray in any wind condition over a light breeze. I do wish it came with one smaller .5MM application nozzle so we could use with fence sealants/stains. Otherwise, great product.

Overall happy with this. Easy to use for beginner
I am a beginner and this is not hard to use at all. Works well for the small room I used it on paint get build up a lot at the end of the nozzle but that could be something I did. The cord is very short so that caused some small problems for me. All in all it worked well and did what I needed. And for the price I can’t complain. Easy to take apart and clean.

Surprisingly good for such a low price.
I've used and owned other hvlp and airless sprayers before, and I am surprisingly impressed with this one, for the price. I was concerned that you can't adjust the airflow, only the fluid amount but after using it, I found that this wasn't an issue anyway. I sprayed 30 year old, painted, kitchen cabinets that had been lightly sanded and it came out as smooth as you can expect for older cabinet doors that weren't in great shape. At first, I sprayed the primer (Behr cabinet and trim primer) a little too thin. I was worried about going to heavy and getting drips and runs. but it turns out that I could have gone heavier. Then I did two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald trim paint, alkyd enamel water-based paint. Again, the first coat was probably a little lighter than necessary but by time I put on the second coat, I did go slower to get a heavier spray and it covered very well with no runs. I did have the cabinet doors laying flat, not hanging though so that might have helped the pain level out. The paint does need to be thinned considerably. The manufacturer recommends no more than 1/2 pint of water per gallon -- I'm not sure what I used but it was closer to a 1/2 pint per quart, in order to get it thin enough. You must use the thinning funnel to test how long it takes for the paint to drain from it to make sure you have it thinned enough. I thinned it to about 50 seconds until the cup was empty. However, on the primer, I didn't thin it quite as much and the tip clogged up a couple of times and it spat out large drops of primer so had to thin it a little more. Be sure to practice if you've never used and hvlp sprayer before. Do some nice, even passes, overlapping the previous pass by 50%. Start the sprayer when it's pointed just OFF of the piece your painting and continue across and end off the other side of the piece. Do not start and stop it on the thing you're painting itself (unless it's very large, like a house or fence) otherwise it will get too heavy where you do the turn around. I'd recommend this for smaller projects: shutters, doors, garage door, cabinets, furniture, maybe a deck -- but I'd go with a much faster Airless sprayer for larger things, like a wood fence, house, shed etc. This goes slower than an airless and you'd constantly need to be filling the cup with paint to finish the project. I definitely would NOT use it to paint walls in a room, it's way slower than a roller. I'd recommend using it for a closet though, since it's more difficult to manuever a roller in a small space. It uses surprisingly little paint to get good coverage though. I used under 1 gallon to cover both sides of 27 cabinet doors, 9 drawer faces and all the cabinet faces. I was surprised that's all it used. Overall, it works great for the price but, as with anything, a lot depends on the user's experience, comfort level and willingness to learn and practice.

Perfect finish without thinning.
Great sprayer at an exceptional price. Spayed about a gallon of Latex on furniture for a newborn. Came out excellent. Used Paint and Primer Combo paint, sprayed evenly and with out sputters or blotches. Also sprayed outdoor furniture with same beautiful results. Again, no thinning. Well worth the price. Easy clean up, just ran water through it 3-4 times.

Arrived in bad condition but okay sprayer
The first one I got was clearly used. It had dog hair and paint speckles all over it. I got another one and it also appeared used albeit less beat up. I’m using that one anyway and it’s doing the trick

Good product, questionable instructions
This was my first time using a paint sprayer; it worked great, easy to use and control. The paint job came out fine. The only reason it’s not a 5 star for me is this: it comes with a device to measure the viscosity of the paint and recommends thinning. I followed the instructions and thinned the paint accordingly. The paint was VERY thin and runny for the first pass and made a bit of a mess. Moving forward I only added a splash of water (for latex paint) and had a much better result.

It's sold to buyers in the UK but it's 120V and has a US plug
The rating is not really about the product. It could be great for all I know. It was advertised on Amazon UK but the device is for US users with US voltage and US plug so a non-starter in the UK.

The worst !!
The device burned in my hand after three minutes or less of the first use
