Hi, I have a Maltese that is nearly 18, would the puppy mixture meet his nutritional requirements, as I'm sure he'd prefer the smaller pieces?

Puppy food is usually richer than adult ( I believe) wouldn’t think it would do him any harm

Is there any reason why a small adult dog shouldn't stay on this long term? She has a small mouth so will not eat larger dry food.

Hi! As long as your little doggo is enjoying this then I don't see there's a need to use the larger kibble. I have a small Jack Russell Terrier who loves this stuff (although he also has the larger type from time to time). Hope this helps

Is this dog food dry or does it have to be wet?

This dog food is dry and I feed it to my dogs in the dry form. The pieces are small, which is great for a puppy size mouth (mine is a Shih Tzu) but I also use these as treats for training, as both dogs love it.
