James Wellbeloved Puppy Lamb & Rice 2 kg Bag, Hypoallergenic Dry Dog Food

We have a puppy and decided to buy various puppy foods to see which he preferred and which did him the most good. The James wellbeloved food appears to be the best of all of them. But why? Ok, it is nutritionally balanced for a young growing dog, is easily digestible, and has nice small puppy sized pieces. This is what we expect from a dog food, but what about performance? It's the first puppy food we tried him on that did not cause the puppy-trots and if anything it dried him up a little. He enjoys it, and if you want to add a little pizazz to the meal, add a little hot water first to the dry food, allow it to soak in and cool then serve - it has a scent that the dogs love, which is released on warming. This means that puppy is far less likely to get bored with it. When pupy was younger we moistened it a lot, yet it still retained its integrity and did not turn to slop like so many supermarket brands do, and as he grew larger, we moistened it less, giving his newly developing teeth something to crunch on and enjoy. All in all a good brand, and one that puppy still likes - best of all it has a variety of flavours!

My puppy really enjoys James Wellbeloved so I shall carry on using it. She seems satisfied with the portions is filling out nicely good coat etc. would recommend not cheap but such an important time for the puppies development To feed a good diet so I’ve been informed

I bought this for my big puppy, but it turned out that rice-based foods just weren't a good fit for him. Rather than waste it, I passed the bag on to another dog owner and their dog got on with it perfectly well and enjoyed it, so I don't think there was anything wrong with the food itself. The ingredients looked good and it seemed like a quality product, it just wasn't suited to my particular dog. As always with dog food, every dog is different. Overall, I think it's worth trying if your dog gets on well with lamb and rice recipes.

I'm very impressed with this dog food for our new Labrador pup, Oscar. He was already eating it at eight weeks, so we just continued with it. He looks very well on it and his coat is beautiful. No trouble with digestion or his other end. No waste at all. Very Highly Recommended 🌟

Our Labrador is now eating again she's 8 years old and wouldn't eat the adult or senior range but the puppy food is great eats every meal great value for money happy dog

I have 5 month chihuahua and I ordered James wellbeloved food for her. She eats it. But the size of it is huge. First picture is comparison to the old food she used.The issues with chihuahuas is that they don’t chew food properly and I believe that this size of food is not suitable for chihuahua puppies because they easily can chock. Especially if it’s 3 month chihuahua. Just wanted to warn other chihuahua owners. Well I will give it a try with my chihuahua because she is 5 months old maybe she will learn to chew food and don’t be in hurry.

my dog has any problem with his food, he always love it. (ok, he loves all kind of eatable things) but his fur is always shinning, any allergy or stomach problem. ;) i think he is very healthy
