Inexpensive marvelous gadget to enhance the Wyze lock. Can be mounted anywhere with screws or 3m tape. It communicates with lock using encryption so it is very secure and it won't open the door no matter what you do to it. Set up individual codes which are tracked in Wyze app of who and when if you wish. Add, change or delete codes easily in the app. Instant lock button not requiring code when leaving so you don't have to wait for the lock timer to verify it's locked. You can tell by the sound of the lock that the door locked properly so it is very quick and reassuring. No need to fumble for keys when coming home. Running late and guests arriving, give them the code over the phone for when they get there and many, many other uses. Short term rental is a good example. Inexpensive to replace if worn out or vandalized vs expensive integrated keypads on some locks. The only drawback is securing it from theft. I guess I would rather have it stolen than having my door jam broken if someone really wanted it. Not a security issue and for the price, not an replacement issue either. Great unit!

Over the time we have been using our Wyze lock on our house and we love it, it is perfect (only with a one or two times a month were it un-sync and tells the door is open when it's actually close, but noting that a quick calibration cannot fix), the only opportunity that it has, is the app, and the time it takes to get the actual status from the door and then to un lock the door, this was easy and very conveniently fixed with the keypad, not only is very satisfactory to enter the secret code and unlock the door, but is also, super responsive and reliable, this without the comfortable fact that you can create temp codes, or codes that only work some days and at some time in the day, this is perfect for any time you are not at home or to automate your routine and to improve your convenience at home.The product is perfect, maybe it could be a little bit less bulky with a different battery approach, but nothing mayor, and the fact that is super cheap and well built.

This product is easy to install and works well. Reliable, with convenient features. For example, you can grant temporary access codes for deliveries that only work during certain days and times. Worth it for the convenience and features.
