Review: Definite improvement on the Mk 2 - This vac came in a smaller than anticipated box but very well packed. Putting it together was nice and straight forward with no tools but I was a bit disappointed that the battery was not charged. However I clocked that it shared the same 22v AR2 battery as my now defunct Mk 2 and so was soon up and running with that whilst the new one charged. It soon became apparent that despite being physically pretty identical to it's predecessor apart from the snazzy white paint job, under the hood it is a lot more powerful. This does mean it requires more effort to push and pull and I'm sure my old mum would have struggled with this however it does do a better job of vacuuming which is what it's supposed to do. My carpets look great and the extra suction definitely helps pick up debris closer to the edge, especially useful in the kitchen. It even has cartridges to emit a nice smell but they don't last long frankly and the light is useful if you fancy doing the housework during a power cut at night I suppose. If you've not used an Air Ram before they are great, dead easy to use and also to store with the retractable handle. Emptying it is not a chore and they fold down really flat to get under furniture. Battery life is excellent, I can easily do my 3 bed house twice or so on a charge. You can remove the battery for easy counter top charging with the smart white adapter or park it next to a socket and do it that way if you prefer. Stairs aren't too difficult either if you're not too frail. If you can afford the extra then it is a definite improvement on the Mk 2 which did a very good job for me for many a year so happy days.
Review: Very good - Basic vacuum cleaner but what it does is very good. Quality build not heavy , easy to empty, long battery life and powerful for a cordless. No fancy gimmicks just a long run time powerful vacuum cleaner. Would reccomend this product.

Basic vacuum cleaner but what it does is very good. Quality build not heavy , easy to empty, long battery life and powerful for a cordless. No fancy gimmicks just a long run time powerful vacuum cleaner. Would reccomend this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DOES EXACTLY WHAT SAYS ON THE TIN

This is a great little unit and does exactly as it has been described to do, as a retired Engineer I can see it is of such a good design and very well made, it is also very comfortable to use unlike these terrible stick Vacuums that are not! with their dust tank and motor on the top of the handle making them top heavy. About the only little niggle I would have with this is these fragrance capsules these do not last long and are so expensive to purchase direct from Gtech for the price of one capsule you can buy two tins of air freshener these would last you 10 longer than the former, Fools and their Money are easily parted so I guess some people will buy them? I have owned quite a few stick Vacuums of the Vax brand compliments of the Martin Lewis web site he manages to get promos on these, however I can now see he needs a good kick up his backside for promoting such an inferior product, Gtech are Rolls Royce when compared with these.
