SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle PRO Series Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, Full-Body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in SP for Galaxy S8 Plus (Black)

I've read all positive and negative reviews about this product before buying - i noticed some of the negative reviews are legitimate (protector screen separating - there's always a 1-2% of bad products in any batch, this is normal). However, some other negative reviews are simply from people who either don't know how to remove a protective film off of the protective screen, or are too lazy to do it. But I chose to take the plunge - and so far, so good. If the world will ever end in a calamity because of this case, I'll make sure to let everyone know (I'll post it on Facebook first). My experience - I opened the Amazon box, unpacked the product, removed the protective films from both inside and outside of the screen protector, then opened the shell, slid my phone in, closed it... smoothed the screen protector, inserted the whole thing in the rubber backing, and voila! My 8S+ is now protected. No bubbles under screen. No moving parts inside. The case feels solid. The rubber back shell is firm. It's thinner than my previous Otterbox case shell (which seemed more protective - however, I have yet to encounter a single protective glass that works perfectly with that Otterbox Defender for the S8+) Is this Unicorn Beetle shell perfect? By all means no - the screen protector is a thicker flexible laminate film (so it won't protect against punctures) - but it protects just fine against scratches. Which, in my opinion, is a whole lot better than the alternative (using a 3x more expensive Otterbox shell with zero screen protection). It does the job better, for less money than the Otterbox. (Note: I could pursue perfection and declare myself unhappy due to the screen protector not being hardened/tempered Gorilla glass... but at approx $20, what is there to complain about? My phone is now protected both back AND front - you hear that, Otterbox? The FRONT part?) I liked this so much that I bought one for my wife's S9+ ... and that one, too, was an excellent experience.

I bought 2 Love that the black one has a screen protector. Love the price, better than a lifeproof without a screen protector at $99 00! History This is my first time buying this Phone case protector and I have been using it for almost a week. Pros *Price - The price is right for this kind of product you are getting. I have researched other products and most of them are usually priced higher than this so you are getting your money's worth when your buying this product. Don't go buying other expensive cases when you have this for a very good price. * Installation - With the Youtube video that shows the installation process it was fairly easy for me to follow the instruction and it was very easy to install the product on to your S8 plus phone. *Protection - This phone definitely gives you the 360 degrees protection together with the holster. * Feel - I just love the handle and the weight of the phone. Even the feel of it together with the rugged holster the feeling that I get that it will really protect my phone from any drops

Ten stars! Far and away the best case I've had on my S8+ - and I've had a lot. At a frequent "butterfingers" dropper, I needed top of the line protection. After trying the overpriced (but very nice) Samsung branded neoprine case and dropping and shattering my first S8+, I decided to break the bank and go with the Lifeproof Fre. I had one of those on my iPhone years ago and dropped it repeatedly without putting a mark on the phone. It was OK on the S8, but only OK. The protection was superb, but the screen protector hovered above the screen slightly. This caused sloppy response and almost daily "grease slicks" that had to be taken apart and cleaned. I went in search of a new alternative and came across this one. I was skeptical because it was less than half the price of the Fre, but the drop test videos of the supcase beetle on youtube are legendary. They drop phones from multiple stories high and they're unmarked. The real test was going to be fit, and that's really where it excels. The built in screen protector fits tight to the screen with flawless response and no bubbles or grease slicks. I've dropped it from waist height a few times and it functioned flawlessly. Outstanding case that I'll be buying for all of my phones.

This has been a great case. My phone still looks brand new when I take it out of the case. It's stood up to every drop and daily wear and tear like a champ. Doesnt leak water or moisture. Clear screen protector resists scratches. It's still very clear and I've never had problems with it detecting my finger taps and pressure. After 4yrs the only thing I've noticed is a small crack in the corners of the plastic but it doesn't affect anything. It's still water resistant and I can still take it in and off no problem. I recommend it.

I bought one for my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. The case comes in two parts: A cover/inner insert with a built in thin plastic screen protector, and a larger rubberized protective outer cover. You snap the inner insert on to the front of your phone, then you CAREFULLY put the outer cover on to the back of your phone. The inner piece seals up the spaces around the edges and you are good to go. I've dropped my phone twice with the case on - ZERO damage to the screen or the glass back. Top notch and tuff. The case adds some width to the phone and it has covers that seal up the ports on the bottom. The fingerprint reader and rear camera are easily accessible, and the look and feel of the case is nice. Not bulky at all. Now for the flaw(s). The built in screen protector requires small holes for the front camera, light sensor, and the phone ear speaker. If you go to the beach, a park, any place where there might be sand or grit, thoiser holes allow junk to get UNDER the protector where they get stuck and can scratch your screen. You need to CAREFULLY take the whole case apart to clean it - if you don't you will scratch your screen up in the process. I then bought a Whitestone Dome Glass protector for my phone. I removed the plastic one from the case and tried to put the case back on. It WILL NOT fit without possibly cracking the glass screen protector. If the manufacturers ever read this review, please include a second thinner frame that works with tempered glass screen protectors! You do that and you have THE BEST protective case for the S8+!

It's already been 2 years since I first bought this case for my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. I've dropped it a number of times and the case AND the phone has never cracked in any form or way (still on the same case and never have had it replaced). The design is super slick and robust and it feels super tough, while it fits the phone very snug and tight. The volume and power/Bixby buttons are completely accessible with the case on, and the speakers play very well, with their small openings not being obstructed by the casing itself. It's perfect with only a few number of considerations to keep in mind: 1) The screen protector that goes over the front of the phone get scratched easily. It will have permanent scratch marks just from usage over time (swiping, scrolling the screen, etc.). Some people see this as a deal breaker, while others won't. After 2 years of usage of the same case, it doesn't impair my viewability of the actual screen of the phone usually, but if you're in the shade and you have the backlight of your phone too low, then yes it's noticeable. Just increase the brightness and you should be just fine. 2) It may trap heat more. It's not a common problem, but as someone who's used the phone while roofing in South Florida's humid days, it can make an already hot phone even hotter, and surprisingly, make the SIM card go nuts and lose service until you cool the phone down and restart it. I know, I know, it's a very extreme case (pun intended), but I figured I'd bring it up for anyone in similar conditions. 3) The flaps that cover the audio jack and the charging port will stay partially loose, just from usage over time. It's understandable if you're going to keep plugging in headphones and charging your phone via USB cable. If you've gone completely wireless in charging your phone or listening to music, then those flaps should probably stay flush with the rest of the case for a long time. 4) You'll have to periodically remove the phone case to clean the inside of it. Dust will sometimes enter the casing, but only after a long period of time (Around once every 3-4 months.) It's a super simple task. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking to preserve their S8 Plus to as amazing condition as possible, and looking to make their phone last.

I wish I had found this incredible case a long time ago!! It is without a doubt, the best, most durable case I have ever used. I was a bit hesitant to get it because I wasn't sure how well the screen protector would actually work, since it's plastic and not glass. It works perfectly. It doesn't interfere with the touch screen and it's crystal clear. At first when I first put it on it was a little sticky feeling, but that didn't last long. I figured it was just that it's new, but now my finger just glides across like it glass. The case was really easy to put on and fits super snug, which I love. It had its first test just the other day, when I managed to drop my phone on the kitchen floor. Naturally I freaked out, but when I picked up my phone, there wasn't a scratch anywhere not even on the case. It is seriously durable. I am crazy about the belt clip holder as well!! I love that I can use it as a stand to watch my shows, instead of trying to find something to prop my phone on or holding it. I am ordering this case for my kids Galaxy S8 phones. It is priced perfectly too!! I will never use another case ever again. From here on out this is the only case my family will use! I highly recommend it!! If I had any complaint it would be that, I wish it came in different colors.

First of all thanks to Amazon and the seller for the valuable product for my S8+. As I was tired of searching Armour Case for my S8+. Now coming to the delivery & packaging. The product was on time but packaging was a little bit worriesome. About Supcase: What to say....just like an SOLDIER ARMOUR. Was very good, tough and light weight. Also it comes with Soft Plastic Inbuilt Screen Protector (Not very much protective but good one). The case fits perfectly for S8+ only. Also, black colour is awesome and grip of the case is awesome. All ports and buttons cutouts are their. Final wordings: If you love your S8+, then this case is for you. I honestly and sincerely 100% Recommend to every S8+ user to buy this SupCase of you want to save your Precious S8+ for years. Once again thanks to Amazon & Seller.

I am not one to wirte reviews but i bought 4 different cases for my Samsung s8+ and this one was by far the best so i figured i would help others out with my hinest opinion. This case is the most sturdy and best bang for your buck. I had a hard time finding a case with a screen protector built-in to the case that wasnt absolute crap. A lot of the cases for the Samsung S8 Plus do not have screen protectors because of the edge screen. I tried a regular case with tempered glass and that just popped right off. This case feels sturdy, has a built-in screen and the extra holster that comes with the phone gives it Extra Protection in case you want to put your phone face down somewhere. I am not one to put a holster on my hip and keep my phone in it but I just put my phone face down in the holster for extra prtection when i put it down if we are somewhere where i can easily drop it like mudding or ice fishing. 12/10 would recommend.

Best quality fits perfectly with my phone the only con is it's too heavy and bulky

Everything about the cover is likeable except for the fact that it is a bit difficult to take it out.
