I have never owned a watch this dazzling in features and appearance before. It looks so good and the color of the band matches with the bezel of the watch. The leather is high quality and the watch is simply beautiful. It’s such a beauty.

I usually don't get a designer watch as you're paying more for the label than the watch. But i liked the look and size. This definitely wears as a 44mm case on my 8 inch wrist. The dial and bezel are nicely done with sharp contrasting silver on black and everything is very legible. The lume is applied to the hour markers and the hour and minute hands. But it's not on the second hand or complications. The crown and buttons operate properly. The leather band is very thick yet supple and soft and wears comfortably and matches well with the inlay trims on the hands and between the dial and bezel. I was able to use the second to last hole. I didn't see an instruction manual, so here's how to operate the stopwatch. The top button starts/stops and the bottom resets the stopwatch, which is the middle complication with the date function within it. The bottom button will fast reset to the 12 o'clock position. The left complication will track the minutes elapsed and the right is the 24 hour complication. I call it a stopwatch because that's all it's good for. This is not a true tachymeter, which would have the large second hand to track elapsed time for the distance traveled, which would then translate into your speed. This might still be considered a tachymeter if you could rotate the bezel to the second hand once you start your run, but the bezel if fixed in place. So, the bezel is ornamental and not very functional, unless you wait until the second hand reaches 12 o'clock - not too useful in my opinion. One other thing you can do is calibrate the stopwatch hand - pull the crown to the first position and press the top button to tick it counterclockwise and bottom button to go clockwise. So, it's a very handsome watch but be aware of its limitations and understand that this isn't a true tachymeter. Maybe that's why they spelled it 'tachymetre'? I deduct one star for that. It's also a very giftable watch as it comes very well packaged.

The design house of Hugo Boss is known for it's quality items, and fashionable look. This watch is no exception and excels at both. This watch is gorgeous. The watch face is easy to read and the band is very comfortable. The tachymeter works great, but I do admit that the small sweep hand is hard to read due to it's size. Starting/Stopping/Resetting to Zero is very easy. Though this watch is marketed as a men's timepiece, it could easily be worn by a woman as it's not especially large. The watch is packaged in a black BOSS box and is very giftable. Recommended. Japan Movement / China Strap
