This mount is well made and grabs the fence with strong metal tabs / feet to ensure that it will keep your gear safe. I know mine has been hit by a few wild pitches but it stays in place even when I can only get 3 of the 4 tabs / feet to secure because of fence link spacing.I’m using my iPhone for the mount because it’s solid enough to trust that it won’t fall but have also used GoPro and solid enough to support a small battery pack along with phone or camera. Allows quite a bit of adjustment to get lens past chain link for a good view of field.

It takes a little time to get it adjusted on each fence, but other than that, it works great. My phone has never fallen out when the fence has been hit.

I used this to stream baseball games using GameChanger. I really like the setup, allows to be used in various sized backstops. Setup takes some practice but once you have it down works great. Camera took a number of solid fiulballs and never fell off.

I bought this to hold a phone while streaming my son's baseball team games. Many players have family out of state or unable to make it to the game. Bracket is stable, easily attached to the backstop, and I love the extra space for a battery pack!

Aesthetically, it looks like a sturdy & elegant solution for holding both a recording device and its charging pack securely.Functionally, it's much more viable with a GoPro as the chosen recording device and much less viable with a smartphone recording device.WORKING:- The included mounts will securely clamp most phone & charging pack devices (obviously the GoPro attachment will secure properly with GoPros).- It will clamp to chain link / other similar types of fencing.NOT WORKING WELL / AT ALL:* The clamps will not fit *all* smartphone models.* The four fence clamp nuts will never all line up properly to clamp against a chain link fence* The range of motion of the smartphone holder is extremely limited* The structural design of the smartphone clamp forces your phone to sit a couple of inches back from the fence, which means there's virtually no angle you can adjust to in order to be able to see through the fence without some of it showing up in your shot.>>> This flaw specifically had disastrous consequences for one of my baseball game recordings. The game was in focus when I set it up to live stream a game I was coaching. Once the game was finished, I then had the ability look at the feed (to turn it off) and saw that it had been knocked out of focus by a ball hitting the fence nearby...at the top of the 2nd inning. The entire game from that point on was essentially unwatchable. Because the frame includes parts of the chain link fence, your camera may/will at some point refocus on the chain link fence directly in front of it whenever it gets jostled.
