A godsend for writers with dominant hand injury or arthritis
I am grateful to the creators of this simple, effective tool. I recently dislocated PIP joints of long and ring fingers on my dominant right hand and, additionally, fractured the ring finger joint. A first surgery failed; a second is likely. At 67, I am uncertain how much function I will regain. Having written professionally and relied on daily journaling for mental health, I despaired at my inability to write after the injury, which impaired my capacity to come to terms with the greater loss of function. This amazing little pen makes writing with just my index finger and thumb easy; they are my only uninjured digits and the only I can reasonably expect will remain fully functional apart from age-related deterioration. I highly recommend this pen to others with hand injury and/or arthritis, which is a much greater loss than I could have imagined. As a bonus, it is really pretty, a deep glossy blue. My deep thanks to the creators and manufacturers of this pen!

very comfortable...but packaging...
This pen is very comfortable to use with arthritic fingers..it is soft and takes very little pressure to work easily. I appreciate the unique design! I would hope however, the company would recognize that the need for this item is likely for a customer that may also have some difficulty opening the package. It is not only difficult to get to the product with scissors but to be cautious not to expose or loose the extra ink barrels supplied on the side of the packaging.

reduces pain when used by people with any kind of difficulty using their hands.
makes writing less painful and the product is well designed for consumers that have arthritis or hand pain when using the regular pen on the market. I give them away as thought gifts for people who have difficulties using their hands. And the colors are an added attraction and the size is perfect for any hand bag or pocket. The tip retracts and doesn't t leave the markings too many pens on the market do if they don't completely retract. The designer did a great job.

Good pen for injuries
Good little pen. I had my doubts at first. My occupational therapist suggested this to me after I hurt my thumb. My job is 98% handwriting and I hurt my dominant hand so she suggested this pen as a way to take pressure off of my thumb. It doesn't look it but it is fairly comfortable. I thought it would be too small but it's just the right size. The only thing is that I cannot find any videos on how to replace the ink so I made one for everyone else

Very comfortable pen for anyone with arthritis
I find these pens much more comfortable than the fat round pens for arthritis pain. I like the soft feel of the pen and it does fit comfortably when you are holding it. It takes a little getting used to holding it, but when you get used to it, it makes writing with a pen more comfortable if you have arthritis pain in your hands. I have bought several more for each room. I recommend this if you suffer with arthritis pain in your hands.

Ink cartridges run out very quickly!
I bought this alternative pen based on a recommendation by my brother who worked with an elderly gentleman who had significant pain in his right hand. I was struggling to handle all the handwriting I have to do at work with my Trigger Finger pain. While it is easier to hold than a regular pen, I’m very disappointed that the first cartridge only lasted for a total of about 20 hours of writing, about three work shifts. (I don’t need to handwrite elsewhere.) Thank goodness it came with extra cartridges, but still, I am disappointed. I’ve never heard of any pen running out of ink so quickly. It was delivered less than a month ago, and today, the second cartridge is dry!

Not an intuitive design and getting this one was a mistake.
My partner has Ehlers Danlos and tried to write this this. It hurt. She found something else that just had a cushioned lower part of the men. Then I was going to send it to my dad, who had RA. However, I tried to write with it and can't imagine how anyone could write clearly with this thing at all. I don't have a chronic illness that impacts my writing and yet when I used it, I found that it made writing shakier and harder. Now I have this thing in my house no one can use. The size is okay but the design may provide comfort but it didn't for my wife with EDS, nor did it write well when each or us tried it. I'm tired of products marketing itself to help an already fragile demographic of people who are looking to make life easier. This clearly wasn't created by patients, for patients or maybe they could consult an Occupational Therapist because this design is oblivious to the needs of many patients. Just because you can write with it doesn't mean you have to accept a bottom of the line pen that makes it look like you have tremors, even if you do not. If you do, this ought to make your writing worse and by worse I mean very hard to read and awkward to hold.

Very helpful for writing with a plastercast
This has really helped my son to write after breaking his wrist a fortnight ago. The grip is much easier for him in a plastercast and it writes really nicely. Packaging is a bit confusing but the ink is black.
