How did Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein improve my training and/or diet? I ran out of whey powder before I bought this tub on Amazon. I have trained several periods in the last years with and without whey protein (replaced shakes with natural protein sources). I personally like the quick absorption of Optimum Nutrition Whey, the flexibility and creativity it adds to my day-to-day activities and the quality of the product. I have barely any other option to quickly get a protein amount while I am juggling my job, my workouts and while I am outside of my house. I personally think this whey protein has very positive effects on my training - I take 1 shake after my workout and (depending on diet/day) 1 shake before going to sleep. (I have gained about 14 lbs of lean muscle mass in the last 11 months of training - 4 day split). I also run 2-3 times a week (approx. 30 minutes). TASTE: I have tried several brands before I discovered Optimum Nutrition. Cookies & Cream is probably too sweet for some consumers, the taste improves if you just mix it with water (milk, juices and the like have too much sweetness already). Mixing with WATER: Using a SMART SHAKER (tm) - mixes OK with water, there are no lumps and the process is quick. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Mixing with MILK (low-fat 0.3% milk): Using a SMART SHAKER - mixes really well, taste is excellent. No lumps or issues. If you shake it hard enough there will be a little bit of "foam" on top of your shake which is good. Mixing with fruit juice: I have tried MINUTE MAID Orange Juice - mixing was no problem but I personally didn't like the cookie/cream/orange taste. Mixing/Combining with Quaker Oats (oatmeal/porridge): ON Double Rich Chocolate with oatmeal adds a great taste and makes the oatmeal more appealing. However, there is also a floury side taste (similar to mixing with water alone) which is the only downside. I can live with it. NEGATIVE / ADVERSE effects on body, skin or hair: NONE.

I've tried this powder with water and it was absolutely terrible, tasted so bad had to throw the rest down the sink. I used milk instead, tasted a lot nicer, so I recommend using milk instead of water. There was no clumsiness. Was easy to digest. and id say it was good value for money. The best tasting flavour in my opinion out of the four I had of this is, in order, White Chocolate Raspberry, Delicious Strawberry, Double Rich Chocolate and lastly Cookies and Cream.

Always my go to! Taste great and easy to mix. I have twice a day

Blends really well even just stirred with a spoon. The cookies and cream does have a sickly, very sweet, artificial taste which is nothing like cookies and cream. When mixed with water it's almost undrinkable (I'm not rich enough to waste it though, so I neck it in one). It's considerably better tasting mixed with, in my case, oat milk, and I'm sure it would be the same with whatever dairy/non-dairy anyone might use. I won't buy this particular flavour again as there are others that are much nicer (the strawberry, for example). The brand is pretty good value for money compared with alternatives and mixes better than most. I just didn't like this flavour

Tastes really nice, doesn’t absolutely stink out my bottle after use, been using for 2 months now I’ll post a review for muscle building and repairment after another month

The powder is good and is of better quality than the cheap ones, having no chunky bits when shaken. The taste is good, but I got the cookies and cream flavour, and to me it just tastes like vanilla. Milk or water works fine, both taste good

Tastes good, mixes well, high protein and low junk. Go-to post workout protein shake.

My go-to protein powder. It dissolves easily in a shaker bottle with just milk, but it really shines in a smoothie. I’ve been mixing it with banana and kiwi lately, and the flavor profile is spot on. Highly recommend if you want a high-quality protein that actually tastes good.

I was sceptical to try cookies n cream as it’s a flavour that a lot of companies don’t do well. I read a lot of reviews basically saying 50/50 people love or hate it! But honestly it is my new favourite flavour. I’ve tried cookies n cream, rocky road and double rich chocolate from ON gold standard. All amazing flavours. Cookies n cream is my favourite with rocky road in second! So far I prefer gold standard to all other protein companies I’ve tried and I will continue to order from them! Honestly wish I could drink it all day.
