Crack Prepare 3/4 Saucepan of gently boiling water, then place a Poachie into a glass or mug, with the open flaps up. Crack an egg into the Poachie. Immerse Immediately lift Poachie by gripping both flaps together, and immerse slowly into gently boiling water. As the Poachie sinks into the water, the flaps will close . Add more Poachies as required, always cracking and immersing eggs one at a time. Remove Poach for 4 ½ - 5 ½ minutes in gently bubbling water (some foam is normal) and then remove each Poachie with tongs or a slotted spoon. Place on a paper towel and allow to drain and cool. Plate up your Perfectly Poached Eggs Grip the Poachie by the bottom seam, and shake firmly but gently. Your perfectly poached egg will slide out easily. (If the egg does not slide out easily, it is not quite ready. Re-immerse for 30 seconds). **Q: Is the product easy to use**
A: I put the bag in a cup, crack the egg into the bag, put the bag into the water, done. Cooking time is the only part requiring practice.

**Q: How long to cook to make sure no snotty white is left in centre around yolk.**
A: Start with 4 1/2 minutes as it will depend on the size of egg. The easy way to tell if the egg is ready is: If the egg slides out of the bag easily, it is ready, but if it does not slide out, then cook for a further minute

**Q: Can you tell me if these are reusable please?**
A: These are for one use only.  There are 20 poachies in a packet.

I find using poachies is a brilliant way of poaching eggs - they come out perfect, in a nice oval shape every time. Absolutely no hassle, just boil the water, reduce to a fast simmer, break egg into the bag and add to the edge of the saucepan. We like poached eggs and these paper baggies are perfect. Quite easy to use. When they are cooked and before you open the paper sack, it’s best to drain them in a sieve for a minute or so.
