Honeywell Home Friedland D3230 Mechanical Doorbell, Modern Style, White, 4.9 cm x 17.1 cm

Used this to replace an older bell and it wasn't too much of a problem to do. Works well, overall I'm pleased I chose this one

Works with Eufy E340 doorbell. It both chimes and charges the battery version of this doorbell as it supplies the minimum 8V. Edit: After initially leaving a five star review, the chime is now emitting an annoying hum/buzz. I don’t know if this is worth persevering with just to charge a smart doorbell so I may need to return it.

Despite being advertised as "used" the listing only mentioned that the packaging was damaged. Sadly the cover had 2 cracked corners and slight damage to a part of the base. A bit of a mix up on my account got me a mains chime instead of battery one because the price was so low. Luckily, I had an old battery Ding Dong and managed to convert the Big Ben to battery using the contacts from the donor. (Had always been run from a transformer). Shame about the cover but superglue fixed it and it's not in my house to see 🤔

I purchased this as it was going to cost me over £100 for an electrician to do the same thing.fixed it myself and saved £90 . excellent delivery service too

Easy to fit, matched the model number with the old one, works perfectly.

Easy to fit with built in transformer.

Definitely not very loud.

Door chime front door – the sound is not as goog as an 80s Friedland i had for nearly 40 years Would it be possible to swap the older unit'e gong's for the newer ones ? Woud they fit, they look the same. Old model model number 454 made in England

Exactement le même modèle que celui déjà installé il y'a longtemps, du coup super facile à remplacer et fonctionne bien.

So einen Gong findet man in einem Baumarkt fast nicht. Und wenn doch, dann nur für weit mehr Geld. Der Gongs sieht ganz gut aus, ist nicht größer als andere auch und hört sich gut an. 5 Sterne

Dato il nome e l'indicazione di 80dBA, mi attendevo un campanello molto udibile, invece arriva a poco più di 72 un valore decisamente scarso, ma ormai l'ho montato e dovrò accontentarmi. Il montaggio è semplice due fili per la 230V e due fili per il pulsante, non è prevista una luce per il campanello, ma almeno il trasformatore è incorporato e la costruzione è sufficiente anche se per 42€ mi aspettavo un prodotto di gran lunga migliore.
