Is it dishwasher safe as it is stainless steel? Because description says cooker is not dishwasher safe

It is not dishwasher safe because of the plastic handles.

I am used to the Presto pressure cooker, how do you tell if it is up to pressure, my weight rattles?

If it’s up to pressure the whistle will go off

Anyone else have an issue with the gasket falling out into the pot ehen after cool down and opening lid?

The gasket stays on fine for me. I have two of these cookers, and neither of them have had an issue of the gasket falling out. However, keep in mind that the gasket is made of rubber (not silicone), so that will deteriorate over the years, which is why I keep some spare gaskets in my inventory
