This 30w Fiber Laser is a fantastic value, performing much better than expected! We run a small business and have the need to mark aluminum and steel for Federal compliance standards. We had been sending our parts out in batches to another competitor to do our marking, but now we can do it in house! The setup was a little more complicated than we had hoped and it took a few tries to get the install right. Be sure to open the PDF manual and watch the driver video included on the flash drive. I did email their tech support and got a surprisingly fast response. The learning curve is a little steep, but there are a lot of resources and groups for Fiber Laser users online. We have been able to produce professional results on aluminum, steel, plastics, and brass (see video). This device does pretty much everything we wanted it do, Highly Recommended! CFH

I used the software it came with, which worked fine, but the user interface was not terribly intuitive so upgraded to Lightburn for Galvo which works great. The youtuber Laser Everything has good tutorials on how to set that up. I was pleased at how quickly it arrived and well packaged it was. Setup was literally throwing maybe 4 bolts in to mount the head. Came with tools and the software and settings are on the included usb stick. The listing didn't specify, but my unit came with the red alignment lasers as well as a port for an optional 4th axis. Feature per dollar, this is by far the best unit on amazon at the moment. Laser source is genuine Raycus and the theta lens is 200mmx200mx290FL. The lens thread is compatible with the ones from cloudray, so I picked up a 110mm f-theta lens (ASIN B07BS61JMV) on black friday (when those guys run crazy sales) and that worked out of box (you do have to update the scan area in the software). I paid this off by the end of the first week of work on it. Came with laser safety glasses, but I recommend one with a higher OD if you're planning on daily driving it.

this laser made complete cuts through the metal of a Glock slide, engraves my business cards in seconds, and can do everything I need it to. this is the real deal and not any kind of rip off. excellent value, would recommend. btw, it comes in a big wooden crate with tons of styrofoam padding. very well packaged. assembly was 6 hex bolts and plugging it in.
