I spent some time looking at different options for a way to hold the phone while recording video. I needed something robust that did definitely work but was flexible enough to set up, take down as needed. The description made me feel confident that this was a really thought-through product - not a quick cheap option. I saw other things that looked much flimsier at a higher price - and I wasn't sure they would even work. The neck does require some moving to get it into shape you want - but that ensures it stays put. The grip for the phone is gentle on the phone, strong in grip and flexible - accommodating lots of sizes of phone. It is very easy to use. The clip onto the table edge is also very easy - very spacious and very strong - and the whole thing stays rooted in position - not toppling over or feeling a little delicate when in position. I can use this to look downwards if I am demonstrating something with my hands. It is well designed, simple, strong and overall I am very very pleased!

This is my second one I bought, I still have my first one and its still like new and still just as strong. I bought the second one for ease of use. Its well made with good materials. Would certainly recommend this to others

Out of the box the neck "is" very stiff and will need some careful work to mould to the required angle that you want it. Fortunately I only need it in one position (phone camera over a piano) so was able to do so quite quickly and easily. I would not recommend for moving to different locations and needing to bend a lot as a few people have said they snap. However I think it will be fine if you treat it correctly and not roughly bend it. The phone holder is very good and holds it securely. As for longevity time will tell - hope the gooseneck does not drop over time as it will render it useless.

I had another Lamicall phone holder which failed after about 18 months. The flexible support was divided into a thicker base section and thinner fore section which allowed for easier positioning. This work really well until the thinner section failed and became loose where it met the joint. I was happy to get a replacement from the same company especially as the arm support was now a single piece and I didn't expect it to fail in the same way. I have a small phone (Pixel 4a) and when the phone is mounted, if say I'm on Youtube, I typically scroll vertically in portrait mode for content and then I like to watch the video horizontally in landscape mode. This requires me to rotate the phone from vertical to horizontal. The problem with the replacement phone holder is that it seems to be designed to fit larger phones (maybe small tablets too) and the design means for a smaller phone when you flip it from vertical to horizontal, it no longer rotates along the same (or similar) plane: I think they've tried to compensate for this by using the ball and socket joint but it still doesn't manage it and ends up facing at an angle away from you, when you rotate it. Without the thinner section of the previous model, it's difficult and laborious to reposition the phone each time you want to rotate it. What I found is that I could unscrew and ball joint from the end of the new holder. I then 3D printed a part with the same dimensions as the end of the old phone holder where the clamp meets the flexible arm. With a 50 mm screw I was then able to screw in the 3D printed part and mount the old clamp onto the new arm. I'm now able to rotate my phone and not have to reposition the arm. I might share 3D part on Thingverse so maybe look up "Lamicall old clamp adapter" or something similar if you want to do this.

Il supporto tiene il mio Samsung Tab S2 in verticale (lo uso per studiare libri tecnici in formato elettronico) in modo saldo ed impeccabile. I gommini protegonno il tablet in modo che non si graffi e devo essere sincero sul fatto che non riscontro affatto vibrazioni nell'uso, come invece segnalato in altre recensioni. Il foro posteriore per far passare il cavo di ricarica è molto comodo. Inclinazione regolabile e stabile. Nel complesso, prodotto, prezzo e spedizione, sono molto soffisfatto.

Incroyablement résistant. Casse au bout de 2 ans et 2 mois d’utilisation, au niveau de la base du bras. Je suis surpris qu’il se soit cassé après tant de temps à l’avoir utilisé comme un sauvage. Si vous voulez que votre col de cygne dure dans le temps, faites en sorte de laisser une marge avant de courber le bras, genre une trentaine de centimètres en partant de l’accroche. Si vous faites comme moi et tirez tout le temps dessus n’importe comment, il tiendra évidemment moins longtemps. Ça vaut pour tous les bras de ce genre, pas juste celui-ci. En tout cas très bon produit, l’accroche se fixe très bien au support et ne bouge pas une fois bien serrée grâce à l’anti dérapant. Le bras est très rigide mais c’est ce qui lui permet de ne pas tomber sous le poids de votre téléphone. La rotule qui lie la pince au bras grince un peu, mais j’imagine que c’est normal puisqu’elle aussi doit résister au poids du téléphone, donc la friction doit être élevée. La pince en elle même est de bonne facture avec un intérieur anti dérapant et tiendra très bien votre téléphone, aucun risque de chute. Je l’utilise avec un iPhone 14, aucun problème. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
