This is a great double hob. In this hot weather we’ve turned the Aga off, so only left with an Air Fryer and a convection/microwave. This completes our every need. Attractive looking and easy to move around. The plates take a while to heat up but once they are hot, they stay hot for quite a while. I bring beans to the boil and turn it off, they continue to simmer for 5 minutes…..job done! Highly recommend.

Does the job, takes a while to heat up, and it's best if your pots / pans are not too big, but it gets what I need heated / cooked done. Could do with the mains cable being a little longer

I bought this hob for camping, fully expecting it to be… well, hob-tier. Wrong. This little legend has exceeded all expectations. It works brilliantly, is ridiculously easy to use, and wipes down so fast it practically cleans itself while winking at me. I’ve cooked breakfasts, dinners, and a very ambitious attempt at curry on it, it didn’t complain once. Lightweight, efficient, and somehow elegant, this hob makes me feel like a gourmet chef in the wild… or at least like someone who knows what they’re doing with a frying pan. Verdict - Five stars. If camping hobs were allowed to have personalities, this one would be the friendly, dependable, slightly smug companion you invite to every trip.

Nice neat and easy to use

The larger hotplate is as slow as you would expect to heat up (at least 5 minutes) and takes at least another 5 minutes to cool down. The smaller one takes even longer to get going and get water to a boil water. I often turn on both, get something hot on the larger first and then transfer to the smaller, and then cook my second item on the larger hotplate. The dial has the following symbols on it: min, 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5, max. Min should be labelled as "OFF" to be clearer and max should be 6. I understand that min is trying to indicate that the thermostat is at the minimum setting and the hotplate might still be warm but this is just confusing for older people like my Mum. On the plus side it has a spill guard so overflowing water is collected. This is so easy to do on a hard to control electric hotplate with vegetables or pasta. It is relatively easy to clean too. While I wished I had my gas cooker back, this hotplate serves its purpose providing you can live with the idiosyncrasies (slow, hard to control, poor labeling).

Good quality and done the job but I did find the automatic cut out a bit strange and random.

I have bought a few of these now but only just realised there is a 2 year guarantee not 1 year as I thought.The longest they have lasted was 18 months.The higher large plate has stopped working on them.Bit concerned today as during cure process there seemed to be quite a lot of smoke coming from underneath and around control knob on smaller plate.I am hoping this one is ok but only time will tell!
