Absolutely love this product! Writing this review after 2 years of use. My kid has used this bike almost every day and still enjoys riding it.I bought this balance bike when he was 2 years old, and by the time he turned 4, I got him a regular bicycle. He was able to ride it on his own without training wheels in just 30 minutes.I would definitely recommend this balance bike. The best thing about it is that it’s lightweight and easy to carry, yet very sturdy and durable.

This is a brilliant balance bike and worth way more than it costs. With my daughter, we made the mistake of getting a very heavy Pukky balance bike which was just too much for her to handle. She never got the hang of it and we ended up sending her to cycling lessons when she was 5. For my son, we bought the Chicco. It is incredibly light- at 3 years old he can easily pick it up with one hand. He is very independent and loves being able to carry it around and in and out of the house. But that also gave him the best chance of being able to balance on the bike, and with a tiny bit of perseverance in the beginning, he has now taken to it like a duck to water and at 3.5 is completely confident with two feet off the ground, gliding along at speed. We have his first pedal bike in the attic ready for Christmas and I have no doubt he’ll take to it like a duck to water.The Chicco balance bike is also very sturdy and has the look and feel of an expensive bike. I have no doubt that it could be reused for 5 or more children. My son is not gentle with this bike, yet it barely shows a scratch.The colour is unisex too, a bonus for a bike which may well be handed down.I just wish that we’d bought this bike for my daughter in the beginning!

Did a lot of looking around at balance bikes, you can pay a lot for them or not very much, some are plastic, some metal, some have brakes some don't. In order to educate myself we went to Halfords but there was little interest shown by the staff in helping so we made our own judgments and are very happy we bought this one as it provides you with the right features for a toddler getting their balance without anything unnecessary.It's easy to put together and for the price the build quality and finish is impressive, it's metal but not heavy, the tyres are not pneumatic but aren't hard plastic and work well, there is also a low rolling resistance which would suggest decent bearings on the wheels. Opinion of course is subjective but for our 2yo starting out this is a great quality bike that gives you what you need but nothing unnecessary and after lots of research we're very happy with our purchaseUpdate - June 2020.Bike is still going strong despite plenty of miles, it certainly helped our lad get his balance and transition to pedals without stabilizers before he was 4, he still loves to ride this even though he has his bigger bike. Got the yellow variant of this now for our youngest and he's getting to grips with it well too

We got this little bicycle for our son's 3rd birthday in January. Other reviewers had stressed how small it is, but our boy is small for his age, so it is perfect for him. It was quite easy for my husband to assemble, and the bicycle's small size and lightweight frame make it easy for a young child to lift independently, another advantage being that it can easily be hooked on to a buggy on longer outings when he gets tired and needs to hop in for a ride. Our son has been using his bicycle regularly since March and absolutely loves it. He quickly gained confidence and likes to speed along and free-wheel. However, it has no brakes and this week both he and his 5 year old sister have each had a nasty fall when using the bicycle on a slope, though the safety notes that I have discarded probably stated that it should only be used on flat surfaces. The shiny red paintwork is scratched in places, especially on the handlebars, but otherwise the bicycle is wearing well. Good value for money, and we would highly recommend... with a safety warning!

Great little balance bike.Size...The age range of 3+ is way off the mark in terms of size.We got this bike as it was one of the smaller models available and were looking for a bike for our then 18month old. At the time his inside leg was around 28cms, he’s now around 2.5 years and the bike is reaching the top limit of the seat post (he’s now got an inside leg of around 32-33cm). I guess by the time he reaches 3 the bike will be too small.Wheels...The bullet has 25cm wheels which in comparison to some bike in this size range is on the small size, the smaller wheel size mean that bike cant tackle as many obstacles as its competitors and will likely go a little less fast; that said my son can still go faster than i can walk so don’t worry about speed being an issue.Durability...A little over a year in and the bike is doing well, the saddle has a little rip in it, but i just put a bit of black electrical tape over and it pretty well hidden. Paint work has had a few dinks but its still looking pretty good.Conclusion...I would absolutely recommend this, but maybe from 18-36month as an age range. We got a safety helmet set at the same time Riderz Boys' Bike Helmet and Pads Set. There should be a link attached to the review. This helmet was okay for an 18month old with a beanie underneath, for a 2year old no beanie required.

Bought this bike for my 2 year old son so he can begin to learn to balance on 2 wheels in readiness for a 'real bike'! He opened it on christmas day and was delighted and so were we. It is solid, easy to assemble (it took less time for us to assemble this than it did to put together a playmobil car for one of my other sons!!). He loves it and has ridden it all the time - we even have to clean the wheels so he can ride it indoors. It is quite small so suits us perfectly for a 2 year old, but not sure would be as good for 4 year old or taller child. Overall, a great bike at a super price!

Got this for my son on his first birthday and he is a pro with it now that he is 2.5 years old. He has already learnt to balance the bike and knows he has to use his feet for braking. He knows he can use a slope and then not need to push the bike with his legs. He is very possessive about it when other children want to take a ride.Pros : Good build and high quality materialsFeels solid and strong and should last longLight enough for toddlers from age 1Seat height can be adjusted easilyLooks hot ( a lot of people (strangers) commented on its good looks)Cons: Paint scratches easily so be careful when you are tightening screw etc ..Tyres have started wearing out sooner that I thought.All in all a great buy and i would strongly recommend it.

FANTASTIC little bike!! So much loved by our kids!!. Bought it for my twins when they just turned 2. They were zooming on them in just a couple of days. Great choice of bike for either younger age or smaller built child. At the same time, height adjustable, so will grow with the child for quite some time. VERY lightweight, even a small child can very easily manouver the bike. Wheels are sort of plastic, but not an issue at this stage at all, and no punctures! We even used to hang the bikes on the double buggy when twins decided to take a nap... After riding theese bikes for just over an year, we tried them both on the pedal bikes without the stabilisers and off they went, without any hesitation, on the first try!! (They are now 3 years 4 months).The frame of the bike gets scratched very easily- that's probably the only negative with this bike, but for the price and purpose it doesn't matter and we never considered this as an issue.Highly recommended!!

wir haben ein laufrad für unser kind (18 monate alt) gesucht. ein altes laufrad ist einfach zu schwer (4.8 kg) und bringt das kind immer wieder in schwierigkeiten und "begräbt" es unter sich.dieses laufrad ist super leicht, reicht für den normalen gebrauch völlig aus und hat den spassfaktor erheblich nach oben gedreht. sehr einfaches zusammenbauen, gut anpassbare sitzhöhe und funktionalität- alles passt. uns ärgert nur es nicht füher gekauft zu haben....
