We wanted to put a pull up bar in our garage. So, we found this one on Amazon and thought we would give it a try. This thing is awesome!! It is made out of super high, heavy duty quality metal. Installation was not bad at all. We now have goal to do a couple pull ups every time we come and go from our garage. I highly recommend this pull up bar!!

Excellent unit. Super sturdy, easy to install, love all the hand/arm positions. Excellent. One thing I would suggest however on installation. I was installing the side bars and installing by measuring the distance between them given in the instructions. Then a builder who was working here on my property said "hey put it together fully, then put it up. In my opinion, this was an excellent suggestion. Bolt the unit together fully, then level and mark the holes for drilling and installation.

This was pretty well made though the paint was flaking off the mount points. Paint on the tubes and grip areas seems sound. As another reviewer said the through bolts are smaller than the holes. Because the design is slightly cantilevered out, when you put weight on it the bar tilts slightly- see picture. Even if you bolt it vertical once weight goes on it will move.In addition the M8 lags (1/4" shaft) were quite short, about 2 1/2". I substituted four 5/16"x4" powerlags at the top to get max thread depth and used the supplied screws on bottom row.Also instead of using the measurements, I mounted one vertical first, perfectly square and level. then bolted the rest together and leveled the other side with a temporary screw before drilling and putting in the second set of lags.will see how it lasts but overall pretty solid.

The media could not be loaded. We were able to mount this pull up bar on a joist in our garage. It mounted no problem. You were able to do chin ups, pull-ups, neutral, grip, pull-ups, wide, grip pull-ups, all with this bar. You could even put a band and do assisted pull-ups on this part as well. At the price point this pull up art is essential for any home garage gym.

The media could not be loaded. The overall finish of the product is good. The welds are smooth, the bolts and lags are good material. I’ve had cheap lag bolts snap when drilling in wood. The hardware got the job done. I’m not worried about it falling. The bolt holes that hold the cross bar on to the vertical adjustment mounts are a little big so no matter how much you tighten them, there will be a slight downward angle to the pull up bar. I don’t notice it but that’s my only criticism. I’m super happy with the product.

I mounted two 2x4’s against a beam on the room of my garage. I felt that mounting this against Sheetrock would crush the sheet rock so I mounted wood and then this to the wood. It works great. Extremely solid

Love it. Sturdy, with great attachment bolts and options (at least for my setup). Mounting height is adjustable.

Installed this on a wooden beam in the garage. Was very easy to put together but it will require two people for the installation stage as it is quite heavy.Once installed it is rock solid which inspires confidence. Lots of different possible hand positions.Very well designed and built for the price.
