I’m even more convinced now that the negative reviews are from people who didn’t read the instructions. The pump is quiet when you bleed the air out of it and runs for hours at a time with no problems. The filters are washable (I’ve washed this half a dozen times so far with no sign of needing to use the two new ones I bought) and overall I’m very happy with the pump/filter. I bought an additional pipe anyway as I have a solar panel heater so you need three pipes. Regardless of the pipes, it is an excellent pool pump. This is the forth pump we have had over the years and it is the best. Had shut the pool down for winter, setting up again in spring and pump just isn’t working. Plug in, switch on, nothing. 🤷‍♀️ Low noise level, but noticeable. Like I can hear it from indoors if the window’s open. Short cable on the pump so it doesn’t reach the house, needed a secure outdoor extension lead.
