Nice & Loud
I bought this for my Dad, who is getting quite deaf, and so often doesn't hear the phone ring. It came within 2 days on the free super-saver delivery, so I was very pleased.Unfortunately, when my dad set it up, he said it was only slightly louder than the telephone ringer, so I was a little worried (but thought he had done something wrong). I am unable to visit him often as I live over 100 miles away.It turns out that it was quiet, but that his double phone-plug adapter was at fault. He has bought a new one and the ringer is now VERY LOUD! He can now hear when the phone rings from any part of the house without having his hearing-aid in, and is very pleased with the device!Just thought I'd let you know of possible problems. This is a good product.

Good value overall
Compact and neat device that doesn't look out of place within our workspace. Loud enough to hear phone ring over a busy environment without being disruptive due to a traditional bell sound as opposed to a siren. Good value overall.

Very simple to connect and looks like it is built ok
I don't know how people say this is quiet! - Assuming you wire it correctly, it is loud, and certainly can wake an 85 year old. Very simple to connect and looks like it is built ok.

Can be heard all around the house.
Larger than expected, but works well & is plenty loud enough. Easy to install.

DISAPPOINTED
I am at the age where my hearing is becoming weaker.. I saw this BT Telephone bell advertised and thought that thesupposedly loud ring would make it easier to hear incoming calls.I was wrong - The volume is no louder than the existingBT system. If I had been better at checking what other purchasers had to say about the product I would not have made the purchase.I also see that MAPLINS is selling them for £10 Not a good sign.I installed the bell as instructed 2.1 mts above floor ht and fixed the cable with clips.I am returning the product for a full refund.

Nice and loud.
I bought this for my mom along with the double socket adapter and line extention. She's slightly deaf in one ear. It's very loud. I gave it a test run with the lounge room door shut whilst mom was upstairs and she heard it very cleary. So she's good to go.
