Bit too heavyweight to replace smaller kitchen knives. Does well with heavier weight tasks though
Well made. Sharp knife. Handy sheath for protecting blade in drawers, but mind you don’t sever the retention strap that holds knife secure in sheath. I found the knife too large for cutting apples and other fruit in the hand - due. I think , to the width and length of the blade. It was also awkward cutting vegetables- the blade stuck frequently in potatoes and when twisting the knife to release, the potato it ended up splitting the veg rather than cutting it. I think that is due to the width and the grind on the blade. I do like how the knife is put together. The hole and handgrip site comfortably in my quite large, shovel like hand but for some strange reason I get the impression this wasn’t designed as a household kitchen knife, it is too heavy duty. There will be a place for the Fubinaty knife. I imagine it will be very handy jointing poultry or larger cuts of meat.

The genuine Cutting Edge!
I have always kept a full set of kitchen knives, one for every job, and I have striven to keep them keen. This knive, in one fell swoop had made them all, except the breadknife, redundant. I would bever have imagined that so chunky-a-looking knife could be so versatile. It is now the only knife I use. Oh, and by the way, it is, and stays, exceedinly sharp! Even the slightest light touch to tight skin, and through it goes, I know, I ccidently touched very briefly,a knuckle on my hand, it wasn't even a brush, just the ligtest of touches, and a sticky paster was needed!!! So BEWARE! really exceptional pice of kitchen equipment! I could not live without it now.

Excellent present for my friend. Cuts beautifully.

Very good and......
....great value for the money. The leather scabbard is made of relatively thick leather at this price point and the blade edge part of it is reinforced. The knife itself looks good and feels pretty well balanced. On unpacking, the blade does feel particularly sharp, but it sliced through raw chicken breast almost effortlessly. Like it so much I might buy my brother in law one for Christmas!

Cheap and cheerful. Sharp and weighty. Not a quality item
Certainly arrived sharp - don’t be tempted to spin it with the hole - that’s how I found out it’s bloody sharp - literally. Cheap and nasty plastic sheath. Definitely not hand made - hammer effect is clearly machine stamped. Bit of a novelty item really compared to similar style knives . Cheap and cheerful. Weighty enough but whether it keeps an edge - we’ll see

well made ,excellent value
comfortable in the hand ,nice balance ,heavy blade well controlled by being shorter so cutting fine slices very easy. sharp blade protected with a smart leather sheath.
