From the manufacturer Poachies make proper water-poached eggs, perfect every time. Here's how. Crack Prepare 3/4 Saucepan of gently boiling water, then place a Poachie into a glass or mug, with the open flaps up. Crack an egg into the Poachie. Immerse Immediately lift Poachie by gripping both flaps together, and immerse slowly into gently boiling water. As the Poachie sinks into the water, the flaps will close . Add more Poachies as required, always cracking and immersing eggs one at a time. Remove Poach for 4 ½ - 5 ½ minutes in gently bubbling water (some foam is normal) and then remove each Poachie with tongs or a slotted spoon. Place on a paper towel and allow to drain and cool. Plate up your Perfectly Poached Eggs Grip the Poachie by the bottom seam, and shake firmly but gently. Your perfectly poached egg will slide out easily. (If the egg does not slide out easily, it is not quite ready. Re-immerse for 30 seconds). **Q: Can you put the bags in an air fryer?**
A: I have an airfryer but never even thought about poaching an egg in there. I just use these bags in simmering water. Easier than poaching pan. Quick and little mess. You can buy silicon moulds for poaching. You can put silicon in airfryer.

**Q: Are these reusable 🤔**
A: No.  You have to rip it open to get the poached egg out of it, therefore it’s not reusable in my opinion.

**Q: can these bags be used to poachother types of food ?**
A: The bags are small so you wouldn’t get anything larger than an egg in them.

**Q: Are these plastic?  If so how is that a good idea considering what plastic imparts to food?**
A: Poachies are made from infusion paper (similar to a tea bag)and are fully certified for food contact.
