TempPro TP16 Digital Meat Thermometer with Stainless Steel Food Probe

This is absolutely phenomenal! No exaggeration, it’s just brilliant. You can set it for temperature or time. So easy to setup too. I’ve used for steak on a grill pan, chicken breasts in my air fryer and duck in my electric oven. Perfect results every time. I’ve had quite a few temperature probes but this is by far the best. Well worth every penny - and it’s not even that expensive. Excellent!

Great little BBQ thermometer, attaches to the BBQ by magnet and probe is heatproof. Temperature measured in Celsius and Fahrenheit switchable.

It works very well and arrived promptly. I tested the probe in boiling water and it read 100 degrees celsius so it is very accurate. The thermometer is easy to use and understand, however please read the instructions thoroughly to make sure you don't do anything that could damage it; for example, the stainless steel probe should not be completely submerged in water as the junction between the probe and the wire is not waterproof. The thermometer is excellent as you can leave the probe in the meat in the oven as it cooks, eliminating the need to open the oven door which would result in fluctuations in temperature. This also reduced your risk of burns, and, since a loud alarm will go off when the required temperature is reached, you can pretty much forget about it until then. You can now eat your meat knowing that it is at a safe temperature, and you will not have to overcook the meat 'just in case' which often results in a dry and unappetising meal. Some minor problems I noticed: the magnet is useful, but is a bit weak, and so the thermometer tends to wobble around when stuck to the outside of the oven. The flip out counter stand on the back isn't that much help either. Despite these issues, the thermometer is still a necessery piece of kit in my kitchen and has a wide variety of uses.

Great bit of kit. Bought for the Christmas turkey. Cooked to perfection. Love the magnetic backing so sits on front of oven, with excellent reading. The alarm is good too. Love the auto meat settings. Thanks 👍

Absolutely fantastic purchase, the pre-sets worked amazingly well and the magnetic back was great to hang on the oven/airfryer/fridge. I really can't fault it, it's given me perfectly cooked meat every single time.

This kitchen thermometer has no flexible electrical join so should last longer than the two we have had like that. It says the temperature of boiling water is 99 Celsius so it is OK for that range. The ability of sticking it into food cooking in the oven and showing also the time is very useful. The magnetic mount works well also for storage and the probe can also be held with little magnets. I highly recommend it.

I've bought three of these. All three have lost accuracy to the point of uselessness after a few months. A full glass of ice water is 17c. Boiling water is 80c. Totally useless. Edit: Filed a warranty claim and replacements for all plus an extra one, different models arrived, which resolves my issues.

Ho acquistato questo ThermoPro principalmente per il controllo delle temperature durante il temperaggio del cioccolato e si è rivelato un acquisto eccellente. La sonda in acciaio è molto reattiva e consente una lettura rapida e stabile della temperatura, elemento fondamentale quando si lavora tra i 27°C e i 45°C, dove anche uno scarto minimo può compromettere la cristallizzazione del burro di cacao. Il display è ampio e ben leggibile, con indicazione chiara della temperatura attuale (Thermo Temp) e di quella impostata (Set Temp). La possibilità di impostare una temperatura target è estremamente utile nelle fasi di scioglimento e raffreddamento controllato. Il monitoraggio continuo permette di evitare shock termici e garantisce un temperaggio preciso e ripetibile. Struttura solida, sensazione professionale e ottima stabilità della misurazione. Ideale per chi lavora con cioccolato, ganache, glasse e preparazioni che richiedono controllo termico rigoroso. Consigliatissimo per uso professionale e per chi cerca precisione tecnica in laboratorio.

Très content de mon achat ! Très bon produit. Cuisson d’un rôti de bœuf avec une température réglée à 53 °C. Le thermomètre vous avertit par sonnerie (bips) lorsque celle-ci est atteinte. l'utilisation est très facile, la sonde est pratique avec son fil blindé très fin qui ne gêne pas la fermeture de la porte du four et qui résiste très bien à la température de chauffe. Il est équipé d'un aimant au dos ce qui est très pratique aussi. Je recommande ce produit !!
