Got these on the recommendation from the Whisky Pour YouTube channel. She’s right that you get a better sense of the aroma from this type of glass, but my own shortcomings prevent me from picking up the expected notes. I hope this will come with practice but we’ll see. The glass is nicely weighted and comes in a nice gift box so ideal for the coming Xmas season.

The Glencairn glass is revered in the whiskey world because it offers an experience that would otherwise have been missed. These serve both novices and veterans in good stead throughout their journey. These make perfect gifts, too. If you want a bit of extra luxury, go for the Glencairn cut crystal glass.
