Superb Whiskey glass, didn't believe the marketing hype at first, but you really can tell the difference drinking a decent whiskey out of this compared to a straight glass. Looks great and a light weight.

Bought this as part of a present for my husband. Someone had recommended that I buy him this small shaped glass to accompany his bourbon. Husband loves it.

At last - the perfect glass for beholding, nosing and tasting your whisky. If you've been using tumblers or nosing glasses (copitas) for years, you'll know the limitations of these two types of glass for whisky. Now comes the Glencairn Whisky Glass (it won the Queen's Award for Innovation in 2006) and it gives you a perfect tapering at the top for nosing, and a nice, big bowl below that enhances tasting. This is combined with good, solid bulk at the very bottom to give you that sturdiness I've always enjoyed with a tumbler, but which is lacking in thin-stemmed nosing copitas. Ordering these glasses through Amazon means that they will be sent straight from the manufacturer, unadorned with a whisky seller's logo on the side, which for me is a plus. Put aside your old glasses and get a quantity of these babies! You'll never go back. What with the rising quality of single and vatted malts these days, the availability of excellent guides in book form, and now the availability of this glass... it's never been a better time to be a whisky drinker.

I always use a Glencairn glass for a dram. It offers the best experience for nosing and tasting, it's a bit of a ritual for me depending on the whisky I let it rest for a minute for each year,10 years in the cask 10 minutes in the glass.

I enjoy the odd dram of scotch and got fed up of having it in a cheap Ikea glass. After watching some whisky reviews on Youtube I noticed they all used the same type of glass, I looked into what glass this was and it turned out to be the Glencairn so I thought I'd give one a go. In arrives in a simple but smart enough box, making it very giftable, and the glass itself feels nice in the hand. When I poured the first drink into it I noticed straight away that the narrower top lip of the glass is obviously there to focus the aroma from the scotch, I could smell so much more from it which was nice. I'm really pleased with this purchase, I've finally got a glass deserving of a decent single malt and its also reasonably priced.

Purchased for my brother to go with a whiskey tasting set as a Christmas present and he was very pleased. I don’t know enough about whiskey glasses to know if it’s a better glass than any other but I’m happy I purchased it for him and I’m sure he’ll be happy to use it!

I believe it's the original Glencairn glass. The quality is really good.

Vasos-copa , para degustación I cata de Whisky , principalmente whisky ESCOCES , en sus distintas variedades , evidentemente también puede usarse para otros whiskys ; el cristal es de calidad ,el diseño casi perfecto ,adecuado al uso esperado ; son muy bonitos a la vista , el envio estaba muy bien protegido y cada vaso-copa estaba colocado en una cajita individual muy bien presentada. El precio es más que razonable , podría decirse que barato , pues vasos-copa casi iguales en Escocia cuestan entre 20 y 25Libras cada uno. Una Buena compra
